A gorgeous hotel, glad we splashed out a bit on it
Cons:The baby cot was a little old and rickety but did the job, give the spa a miss - my pedicure lasted just two days before the varnish started chipping
We booked an executive suite overlooking the park, and had a great room up on the 8th floor. The service was fantastic, room facilities were excellent, and the breakfast buffet and room service food really tasty, quick to arrive and very reasonably priced - far more so than some other places we ate. The only negative we found was that the windows opened very wide, which when you're on the 8th floor with a two year old running around, made our hearts skip a beat just looking down - child locks were needed. Also, request a room in the north wing, which has been recently renovated to a high standard, while the south wing seems a little dated. Overall, the quality of the hotel is reflected in the price, which wasn't cheap, but we're so glad we splashed out a bit on this place - it was worth it.
