Comfortable hotel with fantastic view

Friendly, spotlessly clean and comfortable hotel with a stupendous view of the harbour from its sixth-floor dining room. Our bedroom at the front of the hotel also looked onto the harbour and the double glazing meant we weren't disturbed by any traffic noise. We enjoyed large, self-service breakfasts with plenty of choice, served till 10.00am so no rush. My only suggested improvement is for the 'fruit juice' to be juice rather than squash. Another nice feature is the spacious foyer with its soft sofas, picture books of Crete and free glass of raki. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Heraklion as well as getting to Knossos, with the bus station only a stone's throw away.

Nettes Hotel am Hafen, freundlicher Empfang, schönes Frühstück, Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen, insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr gute Lage direkt beim Hafen. Der Parkplatz am Hafen ist auch sehr gut gelegen und sehr günstig. Im 6. Stock ein Restaurant mit sehr schöner Aussicht. .der weg in die schöne Altstadt ist in 3 Minuten sehr gut zu schaffen.

Hôtel avec une situation centrale

L'hôtel se trouve proche du centre ville et très proche de l'aéroport. J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel le premier et le dernier jour. Parfait pour trouver une location de voiture, faire le tour de la ville avec le bus à deux étages, un peu de shopping, manger et boire quelques cafés sur les terrasses. A cause des rues et de la circulation, environnement un peu bruyant. Le rapport qualité prix est super, tout y est, bravo !

Super Lage

Die Lage ist hervorragend für Gäste, die Kreta mit dem Bus bereisen, da es nur knapp fünf zu Fuß zum Busstand sind. Ebenso nahe der Hafen und die Einkaufsstraßen. Zum Archäologieschen Museum sind es etwa 15 Gehminuten. Natürlich hat diese Lage den Nachteil dass es sehr unruhig ist. Je nach Windlage liegt das Hotel in der Flugschneise, ein schlafen bei offenem Fenster eher nicht zu empfehlen. Weiterhin hört man die Autos der Hafenstraße. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas ringhörig. Das Restaurant des Hotels ist gut und überzeugt mit einem hervorragenden Ausblick auf den Hafen. Leider sind die Öffnungszeiten (abends erst ab 19.30) ungünstig. Die Zimmer sind ok Mit dem Service bin ich nicht zu hundert Prozent zufrieden. Die Angestellten des Empfangs schauen seelenruhig zu, wie man einen schweren Koffer hochwuchtet. Gesamt aber ist die Lage derart gut, dass die wenigen Einschränkungen nicht ins Gewicht fallen. Klare Empfehlung für alle die mit Bussen sich in Kreta beweg n. Sämtliche Busse inkl. Nach Knossos fahren von dort ab
