The room was ok but as we stayed longer than most clients I would have appreciated a better room since the hotel was very empty. the room faced the back part of the hotel and was above the employers entrance, constant door slamming disturbed the peaceful environment.

Modern spacious room with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The hot tub was nice and we could get bathrobes for free without any problem. Staff was nice. The location of the hotel ist perfect if you want to visit the highlights around Myvatn. Only negative point was the loud noise of the closing doors of other rooms.

An amazing small hotel with a boutique feel. Fantastic customer service. A warm and welcoming reception area with clean and typically Scandic minimalistic rooms. Amazing and very tasty dinner. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Sehr kleines Zimmer noch kleineres Bad. Für kräftig gebaute Personen ist das Benutzen der Toilette sicherlich eine Herausforderung. Die Parkplätze sind sehr knapp bemessen und reichen bei Weitem nicht aus. Wir hatten Glück, noch einen freien Platz zu ergattern, trauten uns dann aber nicht mehr, nochmal mit dem Auto wegzufahren... DIe Zimmer im Erdgeschoss sind leider rundum von außen einsehbar - deshalb waren wir gezwungen, die Vorhänge zuzuziehen. Sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war sehr gut -riesige Auswahl und sehr appetitlich angerichtet.

Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr sauber und ordentlich. Bad ist reichlich mit Shampoo, Duschgel etc. ausgestattet. Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet (optional) war sehr gut mit einer großen Auswahl. Zum Dinner hatten wir im Restaurant Arctic Char (saibling) als Hauptgericht. Die Portion war für den Preis von mehr als 4000 Kronen sehr klein. Sie bestand aus einem Stück Filet in der Größe von ca. 10x10 cm etwas Kartoffelpürree und einer Charlotte. Da stimmen Preis und Leistung wirklich nicht. Der Fisch war sehr lecker, aber der Preis für diese kleine Portion nicht ok. Wir waren anschließend noch hungrig. Der Preis ist grundsätzlich für diesen Fisch in Island noch ok. In anderen guten Restaurants haben wir für diesen Preis die 2-3 fache Menge Arctic Char erhalten. Insgesamt ist das Hotel empfehlenswert. Beim Dinner sollte man ggf auf alternative Restaurants ausweichen.

Wir hatten ein schönes Standart Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick. Einzig die umweltfreundliche Toilettenspühlung war sehr laut.
