Suihku oli kehno, sisäilma hieman tunkkainen ja spa pettymys. Loistava aamupala korvasi pienet puutteet!

Saavuimme Riikaan aamukoneella klo 9.15 ja olimme hotellilla jo 10.30 aikomuksena jättää laukku säilöön siihen asti että saamme huoneen klo14. Vastaanottovirkailija katsoi koneelta että heillä on jo kaksi huonetta siivottuna, joten saimme huoneen yli kolme tuntia etuajassa. Hotelli oli erinomaisen siisti, paikat oli kunnossa ja palvelu oli erittäin hyvää ja henkilökunta avuliasta ja ystävällistä, mitään ongelmia ei tullut kolmen yön vierailumme aikana. Aamiainen oli erittäin kattava ja herkullinen, puuroa, pekonia, nakkeja, munia oli kokkelina, keitettynä, paistettuna ja omeletteina. Oli kalaa, hedelmiä ja vihanneksia ja makeita tuotteita jne. Juomia oli montaa sorttia tuoremehusta kuohuviiniin. Hotellin sijainti oli mielestämme erinomainen, heti tien toisella puolella oli upea puisto jonka läpi kävelemällä olit muutamassa minuutissa vanhassakaupungissa. Lentokentältä tulimme bussilla nro22 ja jäimme heti Daugava-joen ylityksen jälkeen ekalle pysäkille, josta oli noin 1km kävely vanhan kaupungin läpi hotellille. Lähtiessä kävelimme samalle pysäkille josta 1.50€ lipulla kentälle samaisella nro22 bussilla. Hotellilta ehtii lentokentälle helposti tunnissa, kävelyineen ja bussimatkoineen. Kaikenkaikkiaan lomamme Riikassa oli hieno kokemus ja Grand Poet Hotel varmasti yksi kaupungin parhaimpia.

Professional staff with excellent language skills. Clean and stylish. Good breakfast which would be excellent when a omelette would also be included. Otherwise tasty and wide selection of items. Nice sparkling wine also. Nice and quiet room. Excellent location near shopping centers and old city. Excellent bed and we we’re also provided with extra pillows.
