Very friendly staff and helpful too, hotel is clean and good size for relaxation break. Great location and lots of good restaurants near by. Easy to reach the beach by 20 minutes bus. Value for money for the 5 stars hotel.

A few days in Valencia

This is obviously a hotel of two halves depending on how deep you pocket is! Originally shown into a windowless box in the courtyard very dark and not very nice at all. After some discussion were moved to 4th floor with windows and privacy much better. Rooms on 1st and 2nd floors have high ceilings and are much grander for a price. Breakfasts when busy were in conference rooms and reverted to restuarant senzone when not so busy nicer! Breakfasts were wonderful and the choice could not be faulted. Staff very friendly and helpful, not all spoke English. Room service was variable were not very goodat taking away empty glasees and replacing them with fresh ones. Good location for all parts of city.

Definitely worth considering staying here

We stayed four nights on our first trip to Valencia. Very good location to access old town, park areas, shops, etc. The staff without exception were welcoming, helpful and efficient - a great plus/asset to the hotel. Dreamer room was a good size and WiFi worked a treat. For those who want to take some exercise the gym has treadmills, cycles and weights, and a TV to while away the minutes. There is also a relaxing, quiet indoor pool area. All kept very spotless. While not so important, we were somewhat surprised that the only English channels available were news channels. A case, perhaps, of having to accommodate the needs of too many nationalities/languages? We would also have preferred to eat breakfast at the hotel but found the price (some EUR23 each at the time of writing) rather hefty so opted instead to go to nearby cafes. Admittedly, very modest in comparison to the breakfast offered at the hotel but then the prices were modest too.

Definitely to be considered...

Very good location both for the old town and the museums. The staff, without exception, were pleasant, welcoming, efficient and helpful. For those who like to take some extra exercise there is a small gym (bicycles, treadmills, weights) complete with tv to help while away the hours and a tranquil pool. While not important 'downsides' as such, the tv channels in English were limited to news channels and we were somewhat surprised there was not the option to even pay to watch a movie or two. And although we would have preferred to have breakfast at the hotel, we found the price simply too much to justify and opted instead for the local cafes nearby (admittedly much more basic but so was the price!).

Promises more than you experience

Overall the Hotel tries to be too much in line with a Design Hotel - not really close to it. Using aroma at the entrance lobby is risky - and in this case, kind of annoying, we were running away from it (don't know if vanilla or something heavy like it). The Bar was very basic. The rooms were fine and comfortable. Location is fine - for sure we've found it overpriced for what it is at the end. Good but not something to remember.

Zentral gelegen. Nahe der Metro Haltestelle colon. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr schöner Hinterhof. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Jeden Tag wurde geputzt und eine Flasche mit Wasser hingestellt. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an das Hotel Team
