Standard services hotel

Reasonable cheap hotel. Bed was comfy, shower was clean and good and tv system worked fine. However, sheets were ripped, sofa bed broken and felt quite dirty

Brilliant service from Jennifer.

Jennifer changed our room without a problem. Our original room had a terribly noisy aircon machine for n the wall outside. No problem, no fuss.

nicely refurbished but basic and noisy

Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: Sound proofing
Location: We were visiting for a family wedding so did not need to use the local area.
Stayed in quote a few motels but this must have been one of the noisiest. the double glazing did nothing to stop the sound of the HGVs or the plains and the fabric of the building meant that when the quest upstairs got up for there early flights it sounded as if they were in the same room as you. We were on the ground floor were for some reason there was no air-con fitted although it appeared to be fitted in rooms on the upper floor so with the noise and fumes we could not even sleep with the windows open.

No lift - not for disabled or with suitcase!

Pros: Proximity to Stansted Airport
Cons: Get a lift and give your staff some basic courtesy training
Location: Close to Stansted Airport. At the services so a Starbucks next door!
Arrived with heavy suitcases, our room was on the first floor so we had to struggle as there were no lifts. Totally unsuitable for disabled wheelchair users. Bed itself was clean and had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Room and bathroom was tired looking, however adequate for an overnight stay. We arrived after 12am and left by 9am for a flight. That was long enough and I wouldn't recommend staying for longer then a night here. On arrival and departure the receptionists were really miserable. Not even an acknowledgement/response to a hi or morning! There is however one positive for this hotel and that is the convenience and proximity to Stansted Airport.

cheap but ok

A few little gripes the bed was broken and no WiFi in room or signal on t.v but staff were good and you get what you pay for any longer than a short over night early morning exit we would have complained
