It was a terrible weekend. Sound isolation iz zero in room 220, i have a feeling that I have spent a night in a party hostel. Neighbours woke us up at 3 am by shouting and banging the door. After that I could not get sleep anymore. Night-shift receptionist insisted on my talking to morning shift about the issue and was correcting pillows on the sofa instead of offering delivering a message to morning shift for me and to solve problem as soon as possible. He did not even offer me a coffee while I was sitting in lounge from 3am to 7 am. When morning shift arrived tgey laughed happily, got a coffee. I was offered a new room until 2 pm the same day, while I wanted a new night as a compensation just to get my sleep. This stay was extremely far away from promised luxury pleasure. During whole weekend i got 8 hours sleep and had to buy extra night in other hotel for tge reason not being able to drive. My heart started aching and i was devastated after this stay. Issue was promised to be handled during next week. So instead of luxury weekend I had 2 sleepless nights, missed my work due to need for sleep extra night. I am extremely disappointed, ask for full refund and it was my last stay there. If you are looking for luxury boutique hotel with welcoming helpful service - this hotel is definitely not this place. Apart from great design, customer service and room quality should be on a high level which is heavily lacking in this place. Basic ethiquette is a mystery for staff. No hope

It seems the warm holiday weekend had spark up a happy mood among many of our guests which had caused some noise issues at your neighboring room. As the issue rose our staff and security guard immediately calmed down the room, guard also checked the situation several times during weekend and reported no further disturbances. Our staff also did try their best to solve the issue for example offering you the option to change your room several times during the weekend as well offering late check out for your departure day so you could sleep. Only solution you would have accepted was to offer full refund as well as additional free nights which you mentioned you had gotten several times from other hotels. Review for Arctic light hotel We had a couple stay in room 220, a very compact noisy air-conditioned small room. If you would like a room with a sitting area - book a bigger room. I was sitting in a restaurant during my stay. The Arctic light hotel is situated in the center of Rovaniemi. Kemi river is a 100meters walk from it. Free parking and great breakfast on the site. The best thing about this hotel is air-conditioning. We booked a magic twin room to relax and have a great romantic weekend. The only twin room with a sauna. When you book a room you are promised a luxury service. Extra VIP sign is written while making a reservation. Everything was perfect in the room apart from high audibility. So our luxury stay turned into a hostel stay. We could hear our neighbors speaking to each other very well. They banged the door at one o’clock in the night waking us up and woke us up a second time in the morning by talking and banging the door. All-day I was listening to their talking and was basically waiting for them to go to sleep to finally have a quiet room. I asked the reception for the room change, but the room offered for exchange was the same type. I wanted to leave the hotel immediately but due to my husband's condition, we had to stay. We had to book an extra night due to a health condition. The sauna on the 4. floor had a broken bottle of shampoo and the heat in the sauna was too low. Remember to take a towel with you if you go there. You will get 30 minutes to use the

Barman stared at us ling when we were waiting to check in. When i came to get welcome drinks he showed me empty jar and told me that it is over. Then i told him twice that i have to go to continue table game in lounge, (he did not listen to me nor explained anything). So i wondered if i should wait while he will mix new 2L juice. After destroying our entrance to the room receptionist also destroyed our being in lounge. We wanted to enjoy beautiful atmosphere after campari-soda and sauna, being quietly in lounge hugging,talking and enjoying romantic evening... receptionist disturbed us again (discussing feedback) killing all the romance frustrating us while swinging in lounge. So all what we wanted - was to leave the place asap and go somewhere else to be undisturbed in privacy. I regret that i stayed. I came from Oulu to Arctic Light hotel, only to enjoy the romantic stay with my husband. Well i did not enjoyed it. I was frustrated , embarrassed and all the atmosphere was destroyed. I lost money and my time. Next time i will go somewhere else. I wish this stay will be over soon. P.S. coffee machine was dirty in water tank (it was slippery inside so i washed it 3 times), tipping point (when i made fist coffee - something sticky fell from machine to my coffee) and reservoirs (old milk in both). It was dusty in minibar and the whole cupboard.

Un très bel hôtel décoré avec goût, idéalement situé dans Rovaniemi. Une adresse à conserver pour un futur voyage en Laponie.
