Aruba Harmony Apartments

In relation with a business meeting in one of the major hotels on the coast of Aruba, I was looking for an alternative, as I usually do. The name of this hotel and its presentation on the Internet attracted me immediately. The warm reception and attention given was way above my expectations, it was really almost home. Unfortunately I could stay only a few days, in view of other meetings I had to attend, but I am sure to come back to this place in the future: be it for business or pleasure, or both. And I am sure it will always be a pleasure.

This is the worst hotel ever. Do NOT book. I arrived with my reservation and paperwork in hand. The owner informed me my room would be ready in a few hours. I left my luggage and went to the beach. When I returned, she informed me that she had cancelled my reservations months before and I would have to try to reclaim my money from where I booked it. Because I did not have a direct booking, it was too bad. I believe she found someone who offered to pay more while we were at the beach. She offered to charge me $20 to take me, my husband, and young daughter to the airport to spend the night. I refused. One of her kind neighbors picked us up and helped us. They informed me this happens often. Do not dream of going there. The only positive thing is her neighbors are nice.

We have stay for 3 weeks at Aruba Harmony Apartments. Only the best for this small paradise! We had booked an apartment there because of the perfect location. We do not drive, so the bus stop was a very good option for us. Also the supermarket was on walking distance. Everything is clean and management do amazing job and is very helpful. We will recommend this place to all our friends and will come in december again with our whole family! Thank you team Harmony and her owners to give us such perfect time with you all, it; felt like " coming home". Room Tip: Book your room direct with the hotel. Try to get apartment near the pool.

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at the Harmony aptmnts for a week. We where treated kindly, and like family by every one. It was a business trip for us, we come in tired at the end of our day, and find flowers on the table. These things ment allot to us. My sister wants to write her own review, but I can say we enjoyed our stay, and would recomend it to our family and friends. The way it is there, is no different than how I do at home. They are Eco friendly, and that's impressive. As far as the location, we like it because its peaceful, I would recomend a rental car in Aruba any way, because this is the better way to see most of the Island. Harmony is a perfect place for the selective traveler.Harmony is pleased to offer all the services and facilities that any traveler for pleasure or business would expect to receiveIt or desire.Harmony offers the guests what they have booked and paid for.What the guest have made reservations for is what they get.There is always a possibility, for a surcharge, to get a upgrade.SPA treatments are ONLY available on request, if available and, guest need to make reservations and need to pay for it, it's like nowhere in the world for free or included.Harmony is a small and cozy resort, it has not a 24 hours operating check in.The check inn is between 3 and 5 PM.Other check in times is possible after contacting the hotel direct about flight information and time of arrival in Aruba ad at Aruba Harmony Apartments.This is what guests need to do to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings.All those above information are provided to the guest before arrival.It's a suggestion to read and to follow the guidelines.Everybody is very welcome in Aruba and Aruba Harmony Apartments."Home away from Home" I was visiting Xavier school of medicine in Aruba and was still reluctant to make my decision to admit my son in the school, I did not want to make any wrong decision before receiving few reviews from students, faculty members and of-course a personal visit to school.I had no reservation or prior commitment with any hotel in Aruba and I was left with no choice but to show-up to some big and expensive hotel and pay thru my arm and leg for 2 days stay in Aruba. Lucky me, the school transportation director took me to Aruba Harmony apartment, I was greeted by [...], with her beautiful and kind smile, she right away made me and my son Omar feel that we are once again in our home, her staff is wonderful, very professional, kind and courteous, place was spotless clean, the garden was like a piece from heaven was just put on earth and pool was sparkling clean that you would want to just jump in anytime. And the beauty is the price that any one can afford. I really enjoyed my stay at Aruba Harmony and I will never hesitate to recommend Aruba Harmony to anyone who wants to enjoy Caribbean hospitality with the very reasonable price. Best Place to be! Every time I go to Aruba, I always stay at Harmony resort. I LOVE IT! The prices of your studio apartments are very reasonable, they are in a good area of Aruba too and I like your pool and studio apartments they are very comfortable, nice and clean. For those who wants to stay in a cozy and comfortable nice place, Harmony apartments is the place to stay! Please say hello to the guests that I met while I was there, they have told me that they were staying for 2 more weeks, so please say hello to them and tell them that I really enjoyed their company by the pool and all the great and fun conversations we had. could not find it and no one had heard of if..that should have been a sign. put our bags back into car and stayed at a real resort.pool was so tiny you could hardly turn around. you had to share bathroom with other guests. people at [...]hook you up with rooms and they have no idea what it is like..they are half way around the world somewhere. I should be refunded...

The apartment owners are very kind and will try their best to solve any problems you have asked them for help. The owners will almost treat you like family (it's a good feeling). The staffs are friendly and nice. If you enjoy savings or really want to save money and adventure is the only plans on your vacation, stay on this place but do what I did (very important) be sure to book an everyday activity tour and make sure all the activities you select will pick up and return you back here or else rent a car or ride a bus (far from the beach, residential area). One of my adventures here begins one day when the management offered me a free ride but need to sit me at the back compartment of their SUV truck because they have relative guest to show around (for me it was a one of a kind experience to do it the first time). If you have a laptop with wireless connection, bring your microphone headset and first install/use SKYPE to make a call (cheaper than buying a local SIM card on your GSM phone). The apartment location does not have free WIFI but you could select wifi-aruba from available wireless networks to connect and pay internet usage. If you are in the hotel area there are some hotels and commercial places that offer free WIFI, you can also use that (always search the internet for locations with free WIFI to your destination). Since the apartment location is not a hotel areas always call to reconfirm your activity tour for pick up (I almost miss an activity because the bus for pick up did not show up, luckily the owner is leaving and very kind enough to offer me a free ride to my destination on time). Also to really save money bring and prepare your own food (like bread, soup cartons, sardines, tuna, soy sauce, mayonnaise, candy bars and any food in close containers, include some table napkins too) put it on your luggage. The place has everything you need for cooking (like stove, toaster, microwave, can opener, refrigerator and all basic kitchen utensils). The rooms are all secluded inside the gated compound apartment and on the center is a medium size pool for every body to use. There are wooden loungers, beach umbrella, wicker chairs and tables outside each room and on the center beside the pool is a big rectangular wooden table with matching wooden chairs also for everybody to use. On the corner there is also an open air metal gazebo enclosure. There grand suite has more to offer and have 2 giant big wooden wicker chairs enclosures (like a throne). The floor surroundings outside the rooms are all tiles, surrounded with in ground palm trees on the sides and some on the middle place on a big pottery pot. Even with air condition the room may have mosquitoes biting you at night, so bring and put a mosquito repellant before you sleep here (house rule is to only turn on air conditioner when you are about to sleep and turn it off once you wake up in the morning or else pay extra for extensive usage.) That is an additional part of my real life adventure there.

WE ARRIVED AFTER FLYING 20 HOURS AND FOUND NO ONE THERE WHEN [...]CAME HE SAID 'WE ARE FULL' WE HAD PRE-PAID RESERVATIONS. DURING OUR STAY IN ARUBA WE NOTICED THAT THIS HAPPENED TO SEVERVAL OTHER PRE-PAID RESERVATION VACATIONERS. THEY THEN TOOK US TO A "COMPRABLE APARTMENT' COMPLETE WITH CATS THAT SCRATCHED ON OUR LUGGAGE AND DOGS THAT BARKED AT YOU VIA THE VERY SMALL BASEMENT WINDOW WHEN YOU OPENED THE CURTAINS. AND THEY DO FORGET TO MENTIONS THAT NONE OF THE APARTMENTS HAVE HOT WATER TO BATHE IN OR WASH DISHES. MAYBE YOU TOO CAN BE OFFERED DRUGS ON YOUR WAY TO FIND THE HARMONY OF ARUBA. YOU ARE MUCH BETTER OFF STAYING ON THE BEACH IN THE LOW RISE OR HIGH RISE HOTELS AND STAY SAFE AND IN CLEAN QUARTERS. ITS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY AT ALL !!!

We are an African-American couple. When we arrived it took over 10 min. for someone to open the gated door.[...] the owner gave us some story about the room not smelling good and shipped us off to another property where she said we could stay for our trip. We stayed at the the new apts.one night, it was not acceptable. We asked to go back to Harmony Apts.I believe that [...] had a problem with our race and did not want us to stay at her hotel.She also charged us extra for 2 persons in the room,even though room rates are the same for one or two person and is list so on her website.The ownership is not good, avoid this place!Also be aware there is no fitness center, but she has one listed.
