Best price among overpriced Sydney hotels
Due to the unfavorable exchange rate of US to Australian dollars, all hotels are ridiculously overpriced in Sydney. This one was the best deal we could find and it was fine, but still more than we would have paid for a similar hotel in New York City.

Take the free bus to Circular Quay and then take the ferry to manly for 14 Australian dollars round trip, it's totally worth it.

The discounted rate for three night's stay offered excellent value, unfortunately, adding a fourth night doubles the price for the entire stay, so be careful to keep an eye on the rate for each day of your planned stay when booking. Their regular rate seems a little overpriced compared to similar hotels in the area. The hotel is very close to shopping and other attractions in Sydney, including Darling Harbor, the QVB, and Sydney Harbor.

This Hotel is in a very good location, close to all the restaurants at Darling Harbour. The hotel itself is presented well, and provides good service with friendly staff. A very comfortable stay, and I would stay again.

The king-size room was excellent
The king-size room was excellent - clean, ample space, functional in-room work area, fabulous bathroom (including separate bath and shower, both decent sizes), and enough closet space (with plenty of coat hangers). Internet access was slow - my work colleague experienced the same problem in her room - but hotel staff were efficient and helpful. Location was ideal - easy walking distance to Darling Harbour, central CBD and Chinatown. I didn't try the breakfast buffet - $35/head was a bit steep for what I would have wanted - but there was a great cafe not far (Zibar) with great breakfast choices plus fabulous coffee! Will definitely stay at the Parkroyal again. Aliisa, Brisbane

My daughter and I stayed for two
My daughter and I stayed for two nights at the Parkroyal Darling Harbour. The facilities and location were great. Room serive meals were promt and of a high standard. I would recommend staying here if you want great service and easy access to the City.
