Made very welcome on arrival. Michael, concierge remembered our names, addressed us every time we passed his desk. Very helpful advice. 5 minutes into the Rocks, 10/15 minutes to Circular Quay. Taxi's easily obtained outside the hotel.Harbour View room looks over the docks before the water, great to see the ships.

This would rank as one of the
This would rank as one of the very best hotels in which we have stayed in recent years. The service was superb, maintaining an excellent standard of friendliness and a willingness to help with absolutely no suspicion of the supercillious attitudes that can sometimes be encountered at a top class establishment. The food was excellent and we loved the Orient Express décor. The room was very comfortable, quiet and peaceful. The Observatory Hotel will become a regular stopping place for us on our frequent visits to Sydney.
