Le Dome Hotel Brussels

Huge room, but outdated. This is an old hotel. Room had a bad, unbearable smell (as if something had been burnt inside it) that did not go away even after opening the windows for a long time. Furthermore, this was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it had ashtrays in it... The beds were bad (plain cheap foam mattresses). Free internet available only at lobby, not in the room. CRT TV too small to see anything from the bed. Polite staff at the reception desk. Good breakfast with variety of food (included in price) but only vending-machine-like coffee was available (not so good).

The location is great and thankfully we only stayed one night. The beds are bad, pillows are even worse and we got a non-smoking room that had the smell of death.

I stayed at Le Dome for two nights; I booked the room due to past reviews and location. However, the lack of service and amenities made the stay disappointing. I found the staff to be cold and annoyed by the guests; during the check in process the staff member barely made eye contact with me and did not speak to me directly- not even to say hello or confirm my room number. Later, when I asked for the password to the wireless internet, she mumbled it, again without eye contact. When I asked her to repeat it, she glared at me and asked if I needed her to write it down or could I possibly remember it. I didn't appreciate that as a guest in the hotel. The rooms are basic with no frills; my room had two beds pushed together with a firm mattress and lumpy pillows. The room was very large with plenty of space to move around, and the bathroom was also spacious and clean (but very dated- not a modern bathroom!). Free wireless internet is only available in the lobby; you cannot get the signal from the guest rooms. I heard street noise and sirens all night long. Location is great- a 5 minute walk to Brussels Nord and a short walk to shopping and sightseeing. All in all, I won't stay at Le Dome again. The hotel did not meet my expectations, and I won't go anywhere that I feel so unwelcome again.

Great Price, food, location, staff, rooms. Just have your receipt from online and there will be no trouble at all when you decide to check in. When i go back this is where i will stay

Hałas, niedomykające się okna i bardzo ubogie śniadanie.

Accueil agréable, personnel attentif. Chambre sur cour calme. Peut-être pas le grand style, mais propre, clair, spacieuse. Nous y retournerons! Cependant... nous avons été assez surpris de ne pas trouver le moindre kit de couture en réception.

Good value for money. Do not expect too high standards especially for the breakfast (I am surprised by a former comment that breakfast is just great). All in all - a good hotel for your stay in Brussels.

古い建築物を小ぎれいに上手く使っている。朝食は、質が高い。部屋の電話では、プリペイド式国際電話カードの発信ができなかったが、フロントの係りの人が、発信規制を解除してくれた。後で判ったが、ベルギーでは、TOLL　FREE通話であっても一通話あたり、0.50ユーロかかるらしい。
