Tryp Diana

It the hotel was good, nice and clean. However, there is no safebox in the room, so I had to use the safe in the lobby. To leave my personal laptop in the safe, there is no system: one staff member in the lobby said "you take the key and keep at all times" but another would say "you only take the key when you leave your personal item in the safe," every staff member had a different way of handling it. Additionally, the breakfast was not included and because I did my reservation with my flight through a website that gives you that accommodation, the hotel staff was unable to view the reservation and make adjustments to it! On another note, I found that the walk from and to the hotel to the train station was long. After a long day visiting museums and other attractions, the last thing I want to do is walk. I guess it was good for my over all health. One suggestion, for the phone calls fee. They should be next to the phone, not in the a plastic bag in the closet.

A very poor welcome by staff who seemed to consider the hotel was there for their benefit. When enjoying a pleasant drink with my daughter on the terrace, where we had ordered and were brought the drinks, we were at one point told we had to take them inside to finish them as the terrace was then being changed to a different set of drinks management. The restaurant service was excellent, but the overall experience ensured we will not be going back.

We stayed so we could get the shuttle to the Madrid airport quickly, and it worked very well. We did not have breakfast, and there was no coffee in the room, but there was plenty at the airport! We enjoyed the sushi restaurant right on the property and found the desk staff who could speak English very helpful. It seemed to be undergoing renovation, but was not bothersome. Pool was not available.

Really cheap prose for such and amazing hotel. Bathrooms were clean and newly renovated. It felt like a 5 star bathroom. Great location and has an amazing breakfast.

lo mejor del hotel es el transporte gratuito aeropuerto/hotel por lo contrario lo peor es lo lejos que esta del centro de la ciudad

hotel grande de mediana antiguedad, me gustó el lobby, el servicio de bus y el tv LSD, no me gustó tanto la alfombra (un poco gastada) ni las manchitas de sarro en la bañadera, en general esta muy buen y el personal muy atento.

Very Bad, They Don't Have Service!!!

My friend and I stayed at the Tryp Diana after we came in from a late flight. The free shuttle was absolutely necessary. Even if it did take a while, if you're expecting that it's fine. There's also a metro station not too far away that can take you directly into the city center. It's in a nice residential area; we had breakfast at a charming bakery between the hotel and the metro. There's not much I can say about the room itself; it was clean and standard. For us on this trip it was wonderful because we paid about the same price as a hostel, but had our own room and bathroom for the first time in a while, and actually were able to sleep in peace. The staff was really nice and helped us find our way around.

all in all, a nice clean hotel which is close to the airport for short stays. It is also close to the tube station so relying on taxis is also not a must.

Al hacer un cambio en mi reservación del minibús para el aeropuerto, el personal de la recepción hizo las modificaciones pertinentes de inmediato, evitando de esta manera que se produzca una confusión. Mi única experiencia negativa fue que las paredes con el pasillo y con las habitaciones vecinas son relativamente delgadas, por lo que se oyen los ruidos del pasillo y de las habitaciones de al lado.
