Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila

Haben auf Grund von Umbaumassnahmen ein Upgrate auf eine Suite 80m², bekommen. Aber selbst dort war man nicht in der Lage, einen Kaffe oder Tee zu kochen. In allen Zimmer gab es keinen passende Steckdose zum Hotel- Wasserkocher. !? Ein Zimmerservice war auf Grunde des Liftes ausgeschlossen. Die meiste Zeit haben wir in Manila mit dem warten auf den Lift verbracht. Eile mit Weile, warum den keine 15 - 30 Minuten warten. Wir haben es nie verstanden, aber es war ein Graus. 30 $ für einen WLAN Verbindung zuverlangen, und das in der höchsten Zimmerklasse, ist eine reine Frechheit. Auch die Minibar Preise sind eine unglaubliche Frechheit. Der Kaffee in Restaurant ist einer der schlechtesten von ganz Manila. Positiv: Das Casino im 3. Stock ist eines der Besten von Manila.

I stayed here for a short business trip. I enjoyed it because while it did not take that long to get to Makati for meetings, I found the whole area more authentic and interesting. This may not be for everyone, as the 'real Manila' is a crowded and sometimes overwhelming place, but I liked it. The staff, amenities, etc. were all up to 4 star standard. I will stay there again.

Not as 5 start hotel as advertised. There is a $25.00/ day charge if you want to use the internet in your room, on top of the $184.00/night, plus taxes. I asked for 2 double/queen beds instead of 1 King size and their definition of 2 beds is "2 single beds put together". They charged us $1.00 per local call from our room, and by the mintue after 15 mintues and forgot to mention that there is per mintue charge when calling a local cell phone number. Great customer service with the exception of Front desk staff. We forgot to leave a tip for the lady that cleans our room, so we brought down the money to the front desk and asked to give it to her. When the lady came to our room the next day to clean, we asked if the front desk gave her the tip we left for her, she never got it. Will I stay there again and recommend the hotel to friends and family.... most likely NOT.

Its not me who checked in but my Boyfriend's aunt Joannette Rogers who just took a vacation here in Manila, we just stayed there for a night together with my 2 year old son because her aunt asked me, for them to be with their grandson, when we arrived at the hotel first thing my son noticed is the fountain at the lobby which really makes the hotel's facade really accommodating, although the staff is really not that friendly, the fitness center staff is really accommodating and the fitness center and all their facility is good, the room we stayed has a good view of the city and a partial ocean view of manila bay, it is clean, everything is wonderful, they offer a really delicious and great breakfast and with many option to choose from, my son do enjoyed the breakfast too. I wanted to stay here once again some other time with my parents and siblings. Hyatt hotel do have a really good service and one of the world class hotel.

It took a few days for me to figure out that the air freshener sprayed in the room irritated my throat and left me with a lingering cough. Although they agreed to stop using it in my room and I turned off the fan, each time I left and removed the key card, the fan would start and recirculate the air freshener from other rooms back into mine. Windows did not open. I was trapped. I coped by spending time in the fitness center and covering my mouth with a damp cloth while in the room. Also, if I were paying out of my own pocket, the internet access seemed very expensive, I couldn't use more than one device at a time without paying separately, and there was no multi-day or bandwidth limit option.

The Hyatt in Manila delivered the same excellent and reliable Hyatt quality I'd expect from any Hyatt location. The Lounge located beside the lobby offered quality burgers and an extensive drink menu - including various teas, espresso drinks, and fresh juices as nonalcoholic options. The Hyatt offered three restaurant choices: Chinese, Steakhouse, and a main hotel restaurant. The Market Cafe, the main hotel restaurant, had extensive breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, as well as a menu. The fitness center was well stocked with towels, fresh water, and state of the art fitness equipment. The pool staff was especially helpful. I asked for a mixture of fresh fruit juice, and while they didn't have the particular mixture I asked for stocked at the pool bar, they called down to the restaurant and had the juice mixed and delivered poolside. This was a very nice touch that is typical of Hyatt's attention to detail and guest satisfaction. The guest rooms were well lit and handsomely decorated. The bed was comfortable. There was a separate bathtub and shower enclosed behind a glass door to keep the rest of the bathroom from becoming steamy. A particular nice touch was the night light setting which cast a dim light on the floor from under the night stands on each side of the bed as well as in the bathroom. The light was just bright enough to see your way around without disturbing anyone else in the room. The only improvements I might request of the Hyatt are later pool hours and a 24 hour fitness center. During my stay, the pool closed at 8:00pm and the fitness center closed at 11:00pm.

Only stayed one night at the hotel, but I have to say by far the best hotel in Manila. It is located in the heart of the entertainment zone of the city. The amenities and room quality is better than the other hotels in the area. If I go to Manila again, then I will be staying only at the Hyatt from now on.

Annoyed that they charged so much to drive me to the airport. I assumed they would hae an airport shuttle.
