Grafton Capital Hotel

We spent 3 days sightseeing in Dublin. The hotel's proximity to the Tourist Center was invaluable for catching the Hop-a-Bus and Air Coach to the airport. On March 18 we stayed in rm. 517 and the bath tub's drain must have been clogged. We reported it to the staff when we left.

A bit of noise from the pub downstairs -- very popular the week before St. Patrick's Day. Some noisy guests in the hallways at night. Very handy to Trinity College, downtown Dublin, the Temple Bar area, and St. Stephen's Green.

Hotel was very hard to find. Staff very helpful and willing to accomadate any request. Woke up the 2nd night to a car alarm going off, party outside and then a fire alarm going off @ 3am. When I did get up, found eye swollen from a bite and several other bite marks. Couldn't wait to leave!

Awesome location - close to everything (shops, food, bus stops, tourism center, even within walking distance to some of the attractions). Room was a decent size with period-style decoration. No fridge but there was a coffee pot. The staff was VERY helpful - let us check in early and held our bags for us when we checked out. The only down side was the noise on the weekend. There's a bar right below and you could hear a lot - even through closed windows.

personale gentilissimo e posizione ideale, ho potuto visitare tutta la città a piedi e la sera potevo passeggiare per il centro senza dover prendere mezzi pubblici perchè è a due minuti a piedi dalla via pedonale. Le camere erano sempre pulitissime

Booked with this hotel as we'd stayed there few years back. Unfortunately the years have not been kind to this hotel. The only light in our bedroom was a little bedside lamp and the bathroom really needed a touch up. Staff were nice though.

We stayed at the Grafton Capital for the Thanksgiving weekend, and had a great experience. The location couldn't be better, just steps from Grafton Street shopping, St Stephen's Green, Trinity College etc. For a European hotel, we had plenty of space, rooms were extremely clean and well kept. Staff was very helpful and friendly!

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is handy for all the shops and nightlife. The room was quite nice and the bed comfortable. The bathroom could have done with a bit of refurbishment. I had read reviews which mentioned the noise levels, but I thought midweek - Tuesday and Wed would be ok. I was wrong - the nightclub was extremely noisy even on the 4th Floor. Also, the people outside the nightclub got more and more vocal as the night went on!! Didn't have to be up early, so was able to catch up on sleep in the morning. Although it was quite a nice hotel, the noise would put me off staying again.

Have stayed here before and would again always an excellent reception and service.

The hotel is located right at the town centre; at walking distance to shopping areas, tourist information centre (where we can take the aircoach to airport, excellent),museums, and only 10 mins walking distance to the Liffey river.
