Our Standard Rooms represent excellent value and simple high-quality comfort in a quality hotel. The maximum occupancy in a double room is 2 adults.

All our De Luxe Rooms are twin or double rooms facing the waterfront with its stunning views of the harbor and Mt. Esja. The maximum occupancy in a double room is 3 adults (1 person in extra bed). Huhtikuussa (2013) huone oli KYLMÄ ja ikkunasta näkyi parkkipaikka ;) Standar tason huoneet taitavat kaikki olla katutasossa; tarjolla joko parkkipaikka tai vilkas tie ikkunan takana. Paremmat huoneet ylempänä -suosittelen. Aamiainen ja spa ihanat. Henkilökunta erittäin mukavaa.

first Iceland trip!
this hotel was good location. we could go the whale watching place on foot. it was convenience. as in room, it was too dry. we needed humidifier.

Great central location, slightly tucked away
Very warm welcome when we arrived very late at night. Clean room with a view that was easily accessible from walking from uptown or downtown Reykjavik. Breakfast included was convenient, but mediocre. We thought the spa was included but we were told it was extra for us..so we skipped it. All in all, we would stay at a centerhotel again! Free Wifi!!!

Dining in Reykjavik doesn't have to be expensive! Stop at any cafe for a full lunch and a great latte.

Nice Location
Hotel is in a great location if you want to walk throughout the city center. Staff is pleasant and the breakfast buffet was good. Another review also mentioned the issue with the bathroom and how almost impossible it was to shower without flooding the room. This happened to us also due to the odd half shower door setup but was easily cleaned up with extra towels from front desk. Light blocking shades were good for the time of year we visited and highly appreciated.

The experience in the hotel is wonderful, just Rekjavik is too expensive, everything has a price.

Great Hotel
Hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful, made any reservations for you and provided maps along with great directions. Rooms were small but very clean, good location to downtown, great views on the 8th floor, we will be staying there again our next visit.

Really lovely and relaxing hotel.
Really lovely and relaxing hotel. Great buffet breakfast with a superb view. It is worth upgrading for the deluxe room for the incredible sea view and spa access. Beds were comfortable, and bathroom very clean and well designed. 5 minutes walk from the main shopping street and 'downtown'. Friendly reception and free use of an iron and ironing board which was very helpful!! Will definitely use again.

Yes, I Would Stay There Again!
This hotel was very nice for the price. Our room was clean and the breakfast was included and good to start the day. We had a rented car and the was free parking at the hotel. There are only about 7 parking spots, but most people visiting Iceland do not rent a car so we had no problem. There is ample and inexpensive street parking. The location was good for driving out to see the Golden Circle and other tourist destinations. The television only had 4 channels but CNN was included and you don't visit Iceland to watch TV. Internet was free (wired in room, wireless in lobby). The front desk staff was helpful in proving maps, directions, and tourist bookings. A fine place to stay.

Long walk from hotel
Go eat at the restaurant called (in English) "Three Raincoats"... not sure how to type it in Icelandic. The food was delicious and you can eat things that are very Icelandic like whale, puffin, and horse!

A perfect little hotel!
The location is quiet and perfect. Just a few short blocks away from the center of town and 1 block from the biggest shopping strip in Reykjavik. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The daily free breakfast was delicious and plentyful. The only bad thing were the weird showers. It is impossible to shower without flooding the entire bathroom!

Take the Golden Circle tour and spend a few hours at the Blue Lagoon. I heard that horseback riding was fantastic and well worth it. Reykjavik Excursions had fun, reasonably priced tours and they were very prompt with pick up from the hotel.
