Guter, netter Empfang. Zügiges Ein- und Auschecken. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt. Nch 2 Übernachtungen gilt wohl noch der erste Eindruck.

Great Location!!
The Radisson Blu Hotel was in an excellent location. It was a two block walk form the main train station in Salzburg. There was a laundry a block away, and we were able to walk to the Mirabell Plaza in about 5 minutes. The room was modern and spacious. Great deal!

Location
VERY close to Train station...taxi would not take us as it was only around the corner. Lack of gift shop, for incidentals. Hotel staff did not mention close places to eat, other then the higher priced ones. McD, and several small cafes are located less then 2-blocks away. Shopping mall close with supermarket to obtain snacks for the room. Food in the Hotel was excellent. About a 30-minute walk from the old town and most of the tourist sites. the Hop-on Hop-off routes do not come close to the hotel, and the main stop is a 15-minute walk away.

Great hotel, just a little far away from the center of town
It's about a 25 minute walk from this hotel to the center of Salsburg,it's a doable walk, but it is a walk. The return walk seemed longer than our walk to town, we like things a bit closer to the activity.

Nice hotel not far form the train and stations
We arrived from Vienna to Salzburg by the train then we walked to the hotel. The staff were friendly and talking english fluently. The room was big and clean at the corner of the building. Also there was a car park nearby with 5 EUR only per night

Bravo to Radisson Blu Salzburg, Austria
We were traveling through Paris & Austria, and after two disappointing experiences with hotels, the Radisson Blu in Salzburg Austria was a god send - so much so that we broke our plans and stayed an extra night. If you are looking to be pampered and treated well, and if you don't mind walking or biking to the center of town, then, this is the place for you. It's not in the heart of the city, but it is near the Metro, buses and Salzburg's major train station. It was perfect for us since we were traveling back to Vienna and 3 blocks from the train. It's about 5 blocks from the River, and about a 20 minute walk from the heart of the city - WE LOVED IT! If you are looking for tiny, quainte, old world charm with challenging ammenities then this hotel is NOT for you - this hotel is refreshing and modern, clean and spacious. The consierge and receptionists were delightful and helpful. Just what we needed - and within our budget.

WC war leider nicht sauber, das Zimmer war klein... Ich kenne die Radisson Blu Hotels und dies ist definitiv unter die Erwartungen der Kette.

Long walk from hotel
The staff told us it's 15 mins walk to the old town centre. We walked about 15 minutes under the hot spring sun (abt 21 deg)and decided to U-turn as we only cover 1/3 of the journey, we believe. Decided to walk back to hotel and drive our rental car there, spent about 7 hours in old town ( inlcude the castle tour) and pay Euro 17.00 for the parking, hotel is charging additional Euro $18.00 for the garage fee. that's not worth
