Diana Hotel Rome

Huone oli korkea ja perinteinen vanhan tyylin huone, jossa oli tilava vaatekaappi ja kylpyhuone. Aulapalvelu oli ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hintaan kuului myös monipuolinen englantilaistyylinen aamiainen. Ruokailutilat olivat 7 kerroksessa lähellä kattotasannetta, jossa on viihtyisät ulkopöydät kesäkäyttöön ja vielä näköalatasanne niiden yläpuolella, josta on huikeat näkymät Rooman keskustaan.

When we entered the room it smelled bad, most likely due to dampness. However the staff was very courteous and moved our room immediately. Only negative is no wifi in the rooms. Location is great as it is very close to termini train station.

You cannot find a hotel at a better location than this hotel. It is close to the train station, metro (A & B lines) and bus station. To Europe standard, the size of the room is decent and fairly comfortable. It is a little bit on the expensive side but the quality is there. Our room was clean and quiet. We found the staffs were helpful but could be better as they did not usually give us the best advise. The restaurant close by were good. The breakfast had good selection.

Fijn hotel voor een city trip, op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. Schone en ruime kamers, heerlijke bedden en vriendelijk personeel. Uitzicht van de kamer was er niet , maar dat maakte het uitzicht van het dakterras meer dan goed.

Not a 4 star hotel but location is very good, my room was very small but clean,bathroom was also very small,

The highlight of this hotel was the bed which was very comfortable and was an actual full sized bed, not 2 twin beds pushed together like other "full sized" beds we encountered in Italy. The hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants and not too far from anything in Rome. We walked everywhere we went from the hotel. It wasn't in the nicest area of Rome, however it still felt safe even after the sun went down. The garden terrace restaurant was very nice and had excellent views, however they only offered the dinner buffet which was a good, tasty selection of various foods, however it was quite pricey. The regular menu was advertized throughout the hotel however it was never available while we were there. The complementary breakfast buffet filled us up every morning before we started on our adventures in Rome.

I decided at the last minute to take a weekend excursion to Rome. I booked my flight and hotel [...]. Hotel Diana turned out to be a lovely place. The rooms were very clean and looked newly refinished. The continental breakfast on the roof garden was delightful with plenty of food options to start my days filled with touring the city. I highly recommend it. I wish that the rooms had internet, but there was a computer in the lobby and wireless internet there. The first thirty minutes of internet were free each day. The hotel is conveniently located near the train termini and there was easy access to nearby bus stops. Overall I was very happy with my choice and would recommend this hotel to others.

Wir waren drei Nächte im Diana. Positiv ist die Lage des Hotels durch die Nähe zum Termini. Vom gross angekündigten DAchgarten würde ich mir nicht allzuviel versprechen. Sehr nett waren der Mann, der in der Nacht den Lift putzte und der Barkeeper. Ansonsten war es eine Katastrophe. Das Zimmer war sehr sehr klein - am Abreisetag erfuhren wir durch Zufall, dass das wohl ein Single-Room war statt ein Doppelzimmer. Die Betten bzw. der Rost und die Matratzen waren katastrophal. Ich bin da nicht empfindlich, konnte aber kaum schlafen. In einer Nacht fiel die Air Condition aus. In dem kleinen Zimmer wär es brütend. Am lezten Tag unseres Aufenthalts liess ich mein iphone aus Versehen im Zimmer liegen - Abends war es weg. Wir durchsuchten das Zimmer mehrmals. Die Rezeption interessierte sich nicht sehr für diesen Diebstahl durch wahrscheinlich ihr eigenes Personal und machte sich nicht einmal irgendwelche Notizen. Wir waren zuvor bereits zwei Wochen in Florenz, Neapel und Sizilien unterwegs und es war überall wunderbar - leider nicht der Aufenthalt im Diana. Wenn schon ein Vier-Sterne-Hotel, dann ein anderes wählen!!!

The Diana Hotel is really much nicer than most of the hotels I have tried in Rome. All the basics are there, and are really quite good. Most bathrooms in Roman hotels are marginal, but this one was really elegant, from the toilets to the shower. The bed was very comfortable. The roof garden was a delightful way to start the day, and the food served there was quite good. And the whole atmosphere of the hotel was most pleasant. I even went down and sat in the lobby to do some reading. A very nice experience! The location was extremely convenient, minutes from the Termini (walking--no need for a cab!) and of course it is in the heart of Rome.
