Fantastic service and old world charm
Hotel Eliseo was superb. The lounge areas in the lobby and the exquisite breakfast room were delightful. The desk staff were so helpful for tours and advice. They promptly changed our room when electrical outlets failed. Beautiful bathrooms and hotel and room super clean. I will gladly return.

Très bien situé.
Hôtel très bien situé. La navette électrique au pied de l'hôtel est très pratique pour se rendre sur les différents sites, accès métro, Vatican, etc. Cet hôtel de style ancien est remarquablement bien entretenu. D'autre part le petit déjeuner est à la fois très varié et copieux.

Une bonne adresse
Très bon hotel situé à 5/10 mn à pied de la Piazza di Spagna ou de la fontaine de Trevi. Accueil charmant et petit déjeuner avec vue imprenable sur Rome depuis le 6ème étage. Chambre de très bonnes proportions et literie confortable. Un ou deux bémol: la chambre sentait fortement le renfermé et l'humdité. La salle de bain mal aménagée.

Rome for New Years
Dirty rooms, poor staff service
I did not enjoy my stay at the Eliseo. The bedding was dirty, the whole room was dusty, and we were invaded by ants. Considering this is a "4 star" hotel and the price we paid, this was a terrible value. It's a great location and good breakfast, but this hotel did not have much else going for it.

We loved our stay at the Eliseo Hotel for 3 wonderful days.... A great value with Room and Breakfast included.... the panoramic view of Rome from the breakfast room is breathtaking!!!

Great location, charming old world ambience, congenial staff and plentiful (albeit repetitive) morning breakfast were pluses; tiny cramped room, worn carpeting, small beds (almost at floor level) and half-hearted ventilation were minuses. If you need internet connectivity, or plan to work in your room, or are quick to find fault, go elsewhere. If you are into "value" , this place scores high--in a town where so little qualfies as a good deal
