Yes Hotel Rome

Obwohl sich das Hotel in der Bahnhofsgegend befindet, waren wir angenehm überrascht. Sehr moderne Ausstattung allein schon der Empfang. Zimmer sehr klein, aber ebenfalls modernes Styling und sehr sauber. Täglich frische Handtücher. Nur ital. TV, aber wir sind ja auch nicht zum Fernsehschaun in Rom gewesen. :-) Schade, dass es den Kaffee (sehr süß) nur aus dem Automaten gibt. Restauranttipps von der Rezeption kann man blind folgen. Flughafenbus geht am Bahnhof Termini weg, also nur ein paar Minuten vom Hotel entfernt.

We were very happy with our stay at Yes. The front office staff were wonderful. Always had a smile. Got to know all of their guests on a first name basis. We stayed in a "quad" with teenage kids and it was a good set up. Breakfast was more than adequate. Close to Termini which is where everything began for us with riding the subway and trains (watch out for pick pockets--they are real). I would recommend Mamo Angelo's for lunch or supper (just 2 blocks away). Can't wait to go back to Rome.

I picked this hotel partly based on the good (Very Good) reviews on another website. It was highly rated and I am pleased to say a fantastic Value! The hotel is located a couple of blocks (once you head out of the Train station form the proper exit) from Termini Station. The hotel is a fresh breath of air on a street and neighborhood that is re-gentrifying. Its modern entrance is bright and welcoming. it's interior is updated and Modern, our room like all of the rooms we saw during our stay were super clean, comfortably appointed, and smallish as I've come to while traveling through Europe on a budget. Coming from My Home town of Chicago, this neighborhood reminded me of The Wicker Park / Bucktown area, full of fun shops other great attractions and super convenient. We loved our stay the staff was great, language was not a barrier. After an initial stumble with rooms (two single beds vs. the Queen we booked) by the time we came back from Dinner the mattress was swapped out and we had our Queen room! Truly great service. The Breakfast was nice continental style, we made sandwiches from the nice rolls, cheese and charcuterie. Then headed out with both breakfast & Lunch Snack! Rome is one great city to walk in, wander get lost, it’s worth it! One evening we dined in a restaurant on what would be considered in Chicago as an Alley with very good food, our waiter told us head home by walking straight east on this ”Road” through the Piazza Navona, Past the Pantheon, through the Trevi Fountain square ( then if you wish lake a small detour and head the Spanish steps, down HI-end Shopping’s Main drag and be back at The YES HOTEL in an easy 45 mins ! ( skip the Spanish steps and make that 30-35 mins ) Where else can you walk by so many landmarks with so much history in such a short span of time and distance ! Here are a few tips: Take the Fumiccino Express train & be at Termini Station in 30 mins.(the express train leaves every 30 mins at 22 and 52 past the hour, from Davinci airport's Terminal 3 ) Upon arriving at Termini do not exit the station to your Left, ( McDonalds's’ across the street ) instead turn right cross the street continue straight ahead one short block then turn left, in short order you'll be in-front of the hotel, sure you'll miss seeing a beautiful fountain & square, but you'll also miss 1/2 a mile walk) The Highly rated Restaurant Mama Angela's also lived up to its reputation, great meals at reasonable prices. (3 very short blocks away) Good fast affordable Pizza is also across the street from Mama Angela's (sorry can't remember the name) Most everything is a nice walking distance from the hotel, Coliseum is a mile or so as is the Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. A bit further are the Borghese Gallerie, Piazza de Popolo and Piazza Navona We took a Taxi to the Vatican... everyone should experience an Italian Taxi ride...at least once! (But even the Vatican is walking distance or you can take the Metro, speaking of the Metro underground trains are mins form the hotel in the square. the Bus Station is also at the Termini again making the location a fantastic jumping off point. Great local shopping is around the corner on Nationale. Go And Enjoy… we’d happily return to this hotel on our next trip… if we’re so fortunate to do so again !

I stayed here for one night after a cruise and picked this location for easy access to Termini station for a 10:20 am flight. I got a single room and was very impressed with the quality of the furnishings and decor, esp for about $70 USD per night. Termini area is not very charming, so for a longer stay I'd recommend staying elsewhere (like Trastevere) but for a quick trip and easy access to transit this was perfect.

We like to use the trains & buses when we travel, so the location was perfect for walking w/our luggage. The staff was most helpful by carring my luggage to our room, helping in sending a fax which was much cheaper then using the place around the corner. Then found out the internet was free, not to mention how delightful it was to have some hot breakfast items along w/the coffee/cappuccino/hot cocolate machine. Shower was warm and powerful, love the energy saving room card, US should do that. Plus TV included in the rate. Wish we stayed here on our last night after our cruise, as the other hotel charged extra for TV, no hot brkfast & cold shower & further from termini.

We arrived well before check in time but were able to check in--thankfully! We had just had an overnight flight and were to have a tour in a few hours. The room was small but very clean. The staff was very helpful in finding restaurants, taxis, etc. for us. The location is one of the best--only about 1 1/2 block to the metro where you can go almost anywhere in Rome. This is a small, intimate hotel and you should try it when in Rome! You might miss the entrance on the road so look carefully for this jewel.

Comfortable bed, very modern and clean, very quiet at night. Easy walk to train stations and Metro system. Staff was pleasant and helpful

Although the room was fairly small, it was super clean. The staff was extremely helpful from the moment of our arrival until the time of our departure. The location was very convenient, being only two minutes from termini station. Don't let the exterior view of the hotel fool you, the inside was updated with a fridge in the room. If we ever go back to Rome, we will definitely use the Yes Hotel!

Located near the main Rome train station, this hotel has access to all of Rome. We used the trains to get everywhere. Rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, and wi-fi is available. The room is small, but that is to be expected in Europe, and we weren't in the room very much. Another good point is that a continental breakfast is provided.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Although we only stayed one night on our way back to Dublin, I wished I had booked this on our arrival. They put us in a quad, we had requested a triple. It was roomy, clean, and had a very good breakfast compared to some other 3 star hotels we stayed in in Italy. It also had a free computer and internet in the lobby. All in all it was better than the other Rome hotel we had used earlier in our trip.
