Away from the hustle and bustle. Great for long weekend to sleep at night. Staff helpful. Not a place to walk to from the station with luggage, quite a distance.

The best place to be
With a deck hanging over the water, this hotel has some impressive views of Sorrento. Across the water you can see Vesuvio and the lights of Napoli in the distance. The hotel isn't new, and the rooms aren't very up to date, but the location and the relatively good price more than make up for it. Free WiFi, too!

You must try the pasta at Taverna Azzurra (Blue Tavern), which is near the beach by the hotel. The best pasta I've ever eaten!

Hootel Admiral
Great location. Way out of the way in old harbor. Had to walk up the hill to get to main city center, not recommended for older parties. Loved the Delfino restaurant nearby with the swimming wharf.

OK, but hard to get to
The hotel was clean but the sheets had a hole. Front desk employees were helpful. The hotel location is not great. There is not a "private" beach in front of the hotel. There is tiny beach with dark sand full of people (not private!)that is so small it can be called a big swimming pool (not a beach). If you want to get to downtown be ready to walk uphill with part with no sidewalks!

If you want to go downtown you need to walk uphill so be prepared. You can also take a bus departing every 30 minutes of so. It isn't a long ride but is steep so be prepared.

It was a very simple hotel, but very affordable for the area. Nice location to the water and nice pool viewing the bay. We liked the location because it was near the water and quiet. The hotel was an enjoyable 10/15 minute walk to the piazza center of town. There are lots of very good seafood restaurants on the water near the hotel as well.
