Amazing!!

We have just returned from The Ascot Hotel having had a wonderful experience there. The hotel is situated at the top of Corso Italia. From the Train station in Sorrento, it's a 20 minute stroll to the Hotel.From this station,it's easy to visit Pompeii,Herculaneum (for visiting Vesuvius) and indeed all the way to Naples.The Ascot Hotel is Extremely convenient for all the sights of Sorrento on foot with no need for taxis. Super restaurants and wonderful cobbled side streets with every kind of shop etc..all within walking distance. The hotel provides an adequate continental breakfast and has a beautiful Dining Room.It also has a lovely lounge for that well deserved "Night Cap"!! All in all a great place to stay.

Great location

Used this hotel as a base for seeing all that sorrento and the amalfi coast had to offer. Perfect location, good value. Pool area was also nice. only negative was that it was close to busy main road(lots of honking horns).
