hotel très propre et très classe
l'hotel est juste un peu compliqué à trouver et excentré de la plaza roma ou les bus nous déposent (1h30 a pied ou 45 min en vaporreto) mais au calme de venise l'hotel est en lui meme très propre et les chambres de très bonne qualité bref un très bon séjour

pour aller à la place saint marc si vous etes de bon marcheur vous mettrais 30 min à pied et le vaporetto mettra 20 min pour un cout de 7 euros par personnes,,faites votre choix,,,

nice quiet location, very easy to get to by water taxi from airport, a pleasant 20min stroll and you're at san marco square, or hop on the water taxis a 5 min walk from the hotel, and it's before they get to the busy stops so you can get a good position for views of the grand canal. hotel breakfast included was great hot & cold buffet, cereals and giant bowl of fruit that kept getting re-filled (especially enjoyed the fresh pastries and cakes), and the food choices accomodates for adults and children. only 2 problems - all the lights go on in the bedroom when you open the door - which isnt very practical if one person / child has gone to bed before the others. would have been convienant to have a toliet on the same floor as the restaurant / bar - but wouldn't stop me from visting again tho. the local Spritz aperitif drink v nice & aim to eat gelato every day of your trip :O)

bus is cheap, but goes to one end of town. recommend the water taxi from the airport if you are staying anywhere near san marco or east of there - check which stop you need, and which lines run to it. buy a 24 / 48 / 72 hour pass for the water buses - gets you everywhere around venice - can't use for the water taxi from the airport tho changing at Lido from water taxi to the water bus lines is very easy - red (rossa) line less frequent but gets there much quicker than the blue, also doesn't stop at as stops on the way. if there is a group 5-8 you can get a speedboat from airport to desitination stop for c.€100 total - much quicker that the water taxi if you have the extra bit of cash to spare. Don't miss out on a visit to Burano (via Murano - glass blowing island als a must see) beautiful coloured buildings to wander round - included in the water buspasses

Hôtel propre, agréable
Séjour du 9 au 13 avril 2013. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à l'hôtel Sant'Elena de Venise. Hôtel effectivement ex-centré du centre de Venise, mais le centre est accessible en 15 minutes à pieds ou en 3 minutes via le vaporetto (arrêt SAnt Elena à 30 secondes de l'hôtel). Le personnel est à notre écoute et parle plusieurs langues (anglais, italien, français...). Les chambres sont tout à fait corrects. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est un régal et propose un large choix de plats / boissons. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est également sympathique et on y mange très bien également.

Un restaurant est présent à quelques pas de l'hôtel (le nom m'échappe...). Le patron parlent très bien le français et on y mange bien (et les prix sont corrects !)

Wir haben das Hotelangebot im Zuge der Buchung der Flüge gebucht. Für venezianische Verhältnisse waren die 3 Nächte ja wahrscheinlich günstig, dafür wurden wir ebenerdig und straßenseitig eingecheckt. Das Hotel sollte undedingt etwas gegen den fehlenden Wasserdruck in der Dusche unternehmen.

Très bien
Nous avions déjà séjourné dans cet hotel. Les chambres en rez de jardin sont un peu moins chaleureuses que celles dans le batiment. Nous apprécions énormément l'emplacment, au calme, à 10 mn en vaporetto de la place St Marc, au moins on peu se reposer lorsque on le veut. Personnel très professionnel. Rapport qualité prix parfait.
