Tian An Rega Hotel Beijing

I hesitate to write this review, because the hotel and staff are so lovely, that the next time I go to Beijing, it may be all booked! Really, though, it doesn't get better than this place. It has a wonderful sitting area on the first floor, full of newspapers, magazines, and coffee made to order. Also, there is a full restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff is delightful. It's just a 10 minute walk to the Forbidden City, Tianamen Square, and a huge shopping area.

No access to free computer internet. Location is great as it is in the centre of shopping complex and Forbidden City / Tienanmen Square, 5 minutes walk. Many eating places around hotel outside. Not too clean with en suite bathroom as edges are not cleaned. Disappointed with single room offered, first room no window. Second room two small windows but the room is very small. Bed is not comfortable and air conditioning is not effective. Only one or two reception just manage to speak English, rest of staff are not able to. Not a great hotel to stay if you want comfort, good english speaking staff and better amenities.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The room itself tiny, it was very noisy during the night, the breakfast was ok, but expensive, and some of the staff was just rude.

The location is perfect, and the roof garden bar, is not much of a garden but a nice place for a cold beer and good view. Room was large and clean, with comfortable bed, robes and good shower. The distinctive tower is easy to see when walking around the neighborhood.

Very easy to walk to the Forbidden City and all the other attractions that are near. Short walk to the subway. Room didn't have a window which had a negative effect on my internal clock. Room is very dark when the lights go off. There wasn't an option to turn on any light source without using the room key to turn on all the lights or at least I couldn't find one.

This hotel is a great value for money. It is strategically located along major tourist attractions in a vibrant and safe location. Walking distance to major metros and to the pedestrian streets of Wangfujing and night market. High above the mark in cleanliness, service, location and pricing.Most of service staff speaks english.Try their restaurant in the second floor for breakfast or dinner, it won't dissapoint you. I strongly recommend this hotel if you travel on business or pleasure.

Very convenient location to the Forbidden City and Tian'anmen Square. Walking distance to Wangfujing commercial area as well. Was upgraded to a suite for my stay. Check-in was a breeze. Service staff were polite.

Except for the dirty carpet the facilities and service was good

This is a "boutique" hotel in that number of rooms are not large and rooms themselves are quite small. Furniture is minimal but overall effect is really cozy and modern. Location couldn't be better...both Tianamen Square and The Forbidden City are within walking distance - about 10 minutes away and there is a large shopping district also about 10 minutes away by foot where you can buy all the brands. My only wish was that the restaurant featured more dishes, but there is a Days Cafe across the street that offers both China and Western Cuisine for a very reasonable cost.
