Just me and my Valentine
I wasn't initially impressed with this place but the longer we stayed the more I appreciated it. The food is excellent and each restaurant has a nice ambience. The pool is nice and clean and the lounge chairs are comfy. Also, there were plenty of chairs and you didn't have to run put your towel down at 6 am to get one. The beach area is very pristine and the views are beautiful. The staff seems very happy to do anything you ask--the service is great. The only complaint I had was the beds are hard & sheets are scratchy which feels bad if you get a sunburn

The Italian restaurant in the hotel --Rosato--is the best one in the hotel. Go early or late to avoid a wait.

amazing hotel and a great location. right on the beach with a wonderful pool. staff was all very friendly, english wasn't an issue. food was a little lackluster, but it wasn't the focal point of the trip anyway.

Wonderful winter break!
Just about everything was wonderful at this hotel. There was something for everyone - we couldn't have asked for more. The location was fine. You could get a taxi at the hotel or catch a bus with no problem. We took a bus to do a little exploring into downtown Cancun, but honestly, everything you need is right there at the hotel. The only reason we gave a lower mark for room comfort, was the beds. The mattresses were very hard and you needed to double up the pillows because they were flat. Regardless, we would love to go back!

OK resort
We have been to many resorts in Cancun. This one is on the bottom of our list. We had many bugs crawling around in our room, the air did not work, then the phone didn't work. The drinks are not made with fruit such as a Bahama Mama should have a banana in it they use banana mix, just not the same! The food was good, but not many resturants to choose from, they are not all open at night. The beach was very clean and our view from our room was beautiful (ocean front room), but the balcony can only fit 2 people on it.

Very enjoyable stay.
The beautiful grounds and overall appearance of this hotel have a very tropical feel compared to other area hotels that are much more modern in design. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Room size is adequate, but the bathroom space is on the small side. The staff is extremely accomodating and friendly throughout the facility. We particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfasts at Kalmia. The food in the Rosato and El Mexicano Restaurants was good although we felt the menus were somewhat limited. When we return to Cancun this is where we will stay.

Excellent service
Two servers stood out among many. Adrian and Christyan treated us wonderfully and always took the time to stop by and say hi and check if we needed anything even if they weren't our servers on a particular day. They had a great attitude and provided excellent service. Thanks Adrian and Christyan!

The best entertainment team!
Clean rooms, beautiful beach. The food is good,mexican was the worse of all:) The entertainment team is fun, very friendly and very accomdating! The service is great and restaurants very clean. There are never enough lounge chairs by the pool, but who wants to stay at the pool when you right on a beautiful cleaned daily beach!

Holiday Fun
The rooms were fine - clean, not fancy. We had a garden view room to save $ and were really pleased. The food at the buffets was good but the other restaurants were average. The pool was beautiful. Beach access perfect. The activities were fun and not too "over the top" - dance lessons, club trips. The best feature was the amazing staff. Everyone was smiling, helpful - they genuinely seemed happy to share in our vacation fun.
