Best Western Hotel Bondeheimen on moderni norjalainen hotelli, joka on tarjonnut norjalaisia perinteitä ja vieraanvaraisuutta vuodesta 1913. Hotellissa on yli 70 huonetta, ja ne on korjattu vuosina 2005 - 2006. Hotellin Kaffistova-ravintola tarjoaa norjalaista kotiruokaa, ja meillä on myös oma käsityömyymälä Heimen Husflid.

Great location

Hotell Bondeheimen is located in the City Centre, near the National Theatre. The rooms are adequate, but hardly luxurious. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

Good choice. I'll stay here again.

Only a short walk to main street. Good Breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Only complant was that my room was next to a Hotel Service room. So, frequently, early in the morning I could hear the door opening and closing.

Excellent location for airport access

The bus to and from the airport stops directly in front of the hotel, very convenient and economical way for transfer. Desk clerk Sondra was exceptionall helpful, went way and above to provide good service. Others helpful as well.

"Farmer's Home"

Oslo is filled with museums of all kinds, Viking Museum a must see. Don't miss the Vigeland Park. Wonderful and beautiful park filled with beautiful families wtih lots of well-behaved children. Get an Oslo Pass, which covers all museums, buses, trams, ferry, and subway system. Especially good for those 68 and over. Great city for walking.

Hotel coffee shop is one of the best values in Oslo.Coffee and snack places near by and in the Paleet. Remember, Norway is VERY expensive. We looked but did not buy.

Nice to have breakfast included

Nice to have breakfast included in the morning, good variety. We're told it is due to the building being old, but the hot water was really unreliable. Had to run the shower for 5 minutes before it warmed up then it was either scalding hot or tepid. But we spoke to others who said they had no problems with the water. Also the cleaners left our room open for the whole day whilst we were out, not impressed. Nothing was taken but if something was we would have been hard pressed to prove that the cleaning staff had left the door open. Good location, central to reach everything we needed.

pros: great location, close to

pros: great location, close to all important sights. quiet even though city centre. we appreciated 24/7 reception as we arrived late at night. cons: the only thing which was a bit unpleasant was that we had two conjoined single beds instead of a double.
