"Lupausten pitäminen"
Hotelli yleisellä tasolla on erinomainen, ongelmia esiintyy ilmastoinnin toimimattomuudessa niin nyt keväällä kuin edellisenä syksynä samoin lämpimän veden säätely vaikeaa ja hanat teknisesti vaatisivat huoltoa. Meillä oli 4 perhettä - 3 sukupolvea ja halusimme yhden huoneen klo 18.00 saakka. Edellisenä iltana luvattiin veloituksetta - seuraavana aamuna hinta olikin lähes sama kuin olimme maksaneet koko päivästä. Pikkulasten takia hyväksyimme hinnan. Palasin asiaan vielä saavuttuamme kotiin, mutta vastaukset olivat vielä virallisempia eli aikaisempi asiakasystävällisyys oli kadonnut "virkailmeen" taakse. Valitettavasti sovitut lentokenttänoudot eivät toimineet, ulkopuolinen yrittäjä, paluulennolle sentään päästiin sovitulla tavalla.

Stadthotel in guter Lage mit Mängeln
Hotel hat eine sehr zentrale Lage (in wenigen Minuten am Strand und ein paar Minütchen mehr in der Einkaufs- und Essensmeile). Leider ist manches etwas abgewohnt oder wirkt ungepflegt (z.B. Teppiche etc.). Die Schlafcouch ist mehr ein Schlafsessel - auf diesem liegt man als Erwachsener sehr unbequem. Die Betten selbst sind auch schon sehr durchgelegen. Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr spärlich - für ein Frühstück geht es - leider keine Kaffeemaschine. Leider war die Toilette überhaupt nicht sauber geputzt. Die Suiten sind aber ansonsten sehr komfortabel, fand den Preis aber wegen der Mängel etwas überzogen.

Grosszügige Zimmer, tolle Lage
Wir genossen als Familie mit einem Kleinkind eine Woche Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Was sehr angenehm war, da wir auch eine eigene Küche hatten. Die Lage ist toll. Super Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, nah am Meer. Ruhige Lage. Saubere, grosszügige Zimmer. Am Frühstücksbuffet nahmen wir zweimal teil. Das Buffet fand ich relativ mager für den Preis(20 Euro), wenig Frischprodukte. Ausser Fruchtsalat gab es nur Fertigware. Aufbackware. Was schade ist bei dem Preis.

Solid modern hotel
This hotel is close the the Promenade and old town. However it is more functional than French. It is very clean and modern but it does not have much character. The lobby is fairly spartan and there are no gardens or outside breakfast area. One of the best features of the hotel is the rooftop deck/pool but it is small considering the number of guest and chaises are often full. The staff was very helpful and spoke great English. We did not eat in the hotel's restaurant.

Short walk from hotel
We had dinner at a NYT recommended restaurant Chat Noir Chat Blanc. It is in a dark side street in old town and doesn't look like much but the food was unbelievable. The owner/chef invited our kids into the kitchen to help him cook and he chatted with us forever. A truly special night - both in food and company.

Large room next to noisy restaurant
We were upgraded to the ambassador suite and the room was very large (two large rooms) with a nice kitchenette. It's four blocks from the beach and the associated beach (Sporting: 15€/day) was lovely. Our room was on the 6th floor, where the restaurant is and it was quite noisy at night with a loud oboist until 10 or 11pm. Closing the doors didn't help much. We tried to switch rooms and the helpful staff tried, but was overruled by the boss. We didn't try the restaurant at all. The garage is borderline useless. If you have a large car, it's far too narrow to use comfortably. We tried parking and then gave up and returned the car; they took the charge off the bill. If you have a small car, it's probably fine.
