Best Western Tour Eiffel Invalides

GREAT LOCATION, GOOD SHOPS AND RESTAURANT NEAR BY ......FRIENDLY STAFF, METRO NEAR BY..

We needed a place overnight and thought it would be romamtic to be close to the E Tower. The on-line site offered airport shuttle and breakfast but did not let us know we had to reserve the shuttle in advance for 20 EU each and that the breakfast was 13 EU each with eggs extra. Breakfast down the street was reasonably priced. If we had know that the cab fare at 11 PM was going to be 80 EU and no free breakfast we would not have gone to this romantic but small hotel.

Shocking experience. All staff (but Ishmael) were rude (I can speak a little French too). Stayed for 4 nights in the smallest room on the floor according to floor plan, but couldn't be changed even for one night. It really was tiny - not even enough room to oopen one of our suitcases without hoisting it on the bed. Had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper to be replaced. Bathroom not cleaned properly. Painting going on outside our room woke us up. But this old building needed more than a paint job. Only one old rickety lift. Internet in lobby on only one computer and even that disappeared by the time we checked out to get fixed (ishmael printed out our boarding passes which was the only positive experience of stay). They said they sold beer, but it was not cold. Apart from the hotel, Paris was awesome! Go there but stay somewhere else!

I have stayed in other hotels in Paris before and this one was great. It has a central location, within walking distance to a lot of attractions; the Eiffel Tower is a 10 minute walk, the Musee d'Orsay was about 15 minute walk, and the Louvre about 20 minutes, but they could all be easily accessed by metro. The hotel was extremely easy to navigate to and from on the metro. We took the metro from Gare du Nord to the hotel and the RER from the hotel to the airport without any trouble. We arrived at the hotel at noon on a week day after a train ride from London. We were a little early for check in but they let us into our room early, which was wonderful! We were able to relax for a little while before heading out to site see. We were given our room early on the condition that a plumber would come by to fix the faucet, we accepted. I don't know if it was every fixed because when we returned the faucet leaked like crazy, but that wasn't really a problem. The hotel was under renovation, but the work was conducted during the day while we were out. The elevator is extremely small. It could fit a person and 2 suitcases. Luckily we were on the second floor so we took the stairs. The room itself was comfortable. It had two beds that were pushed together, a desk, two night stands, an armoire and looked over a courtyard. The only thing that would have been nice is if they vacuumed the room every day. We had had some bread and cheese the first night. There were some crumbs, which stayed on our floor for our 4 night stay. The bathroom was very nice (minus the little faucet issue). Everything seemed new and well in there. Overall it was a very pleasant experience!

I visited Paris for the first time with my 19 year old daughter and enjoyed a great stay at the hotel. It was a half block to the Metro, the Eiffel Tower is a nice walk away and cafes and stores are at the corner. The Best Western is a nice, quiet, small hotel and our room was always neat and clean when we returned after our outings. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel...we had heard such horror stories and you really never know what you are going to get. The street is busy, so there is some noise, but it did not keep us up at night. The room was nicely decorated and we did not mind the 2 single beds pushed together to make one. The bathroom was very nice with a large tub for soaking after a busy day of touristing!! We loved the small balconies and the fact that we could open the windows. The only thing we asked for was more pillows...which we did not receive. We were great tourists and saw as much as Paris as possible. We loved walking to the Eiffel Tower and being a part of the local neighborhood stopping at the little shops along the way. With the subway stop close by, you could navigate your way anywhere in Paris. There were plenty of cafes and stores nearby to keep us fed. Nothing like starting your day in Paris with a fresh chocolate eclair from the local bakery. The staff took care of our bags after check out, so we could spend another day enjoying the city.

This hotel was in a great location walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and not far from Champs, Notre Dame, and the Louvre.

I liked the location, you could walk to the Eiffel Tower and there were some cafes and grocery stores nearby. The metro station was also very close.The elevator was very small but they had a winding stairway you could use also. Nice artwork on the hall walls. The clerk tried to get me to look at another room to upgrade? which I didn't care to do. We had a little balcony you could look out also. They had a little sun room you could sit in also but we didn't have time to use.

Stayed at the Tour Eiffel Invalides from 7/20-26/09. Very nice hotel in great location. I was travelling with friends (4 adults, 2 children ages 12 & 13)and we had 3 standard rooms. The staff could not have been more helpful, especially [...], the desk manager who actually showed us the rooms before we selected them. All of the desk staff was great with area information, airport transportation and every minor request that we had (iron & board, voltage converters, etc.) The rooms are small, which we expected, but clean, comfortable & AIR CONDITIONED.We did not have the breakfast there as the hotel is in an area with a variety of very good cafes complete with a Domino's Pizza around the corner that delivered to the hotel (which the kids thought was great). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Very nice affordable hotel with very friendly service within walking distance of some of the city's greatest attractions.

A great location to walk to the Eiffel Tour, the Seine, and easy access to the Metro. The hotel staff were wonderful and helped with everything, including French lessons! We loved the breakfast room with the old stone arches. We preferred to stay in a smaller more personable place with much more character than a huge modern hotel.
