Crowne Plaza Hotel PARIS-REPUBLIQUE

Was clean, great location, staff friendly and helpful. Downside was - charge for water, not enough tea or coffee or milk, internet expensive. Currently building work going on outside- so it doesn't look nice as you step out of the hotel- but this is minor. Some noise outside one of the nights.

Great hotel, highly recommended! Within Walking distance to Notre dame and the tour bus and the metro is right outside! Cafes, restaurants and supermarkets all on the square. We were upgraded and moved to a club room so we didn't hear the traffic at all. Lovely hotel to come back to after a loooong day sightseeing!

 When they City of Paris is finished working on the PLACE DE LA REPUBLIQUE it will be great – but the Crown Plaza will probably be more expensive then too. The work going on outside was only a minor disruption however and the room was OK but getting to the point of needing a good overhaul. All clean and well stocked though.  The restaurant was fine and the prices reasonable.  The Bar area is the best and provides a cosy atmosphere.  The down side was no WiFi in the rooms (cable only - and we only had an iPad.)  Service was friendly – one irritation unfortunately as it took 1 ¼ hours to bring us some tea bags (even after a reminder) but maybe that was isolated – fast and friendly otherwise.

Staff very helpful and efficient, room roomy clean and warm, within walking distance (long walk) of many attractions.

Very helpful staff; one of the few hotels we could find with two double beds in a spacious room; terrific breakfast buffet was included and well worth it; would be nicer if internet access were free; very close to Metro; great restaurants nearby

What makes the Crown Plaza special are its staff and the location. Currently within a road constructiion area the area is not optimal, but to explore Paris this was perfect. The room and hotel were clean, but a revamp is probably on the cards in the near future. But for Paris, this was all we needed.

My friends and i shared a nice big room in comfort and style at this pleasant, clean hotel. In a great location, you couldn't get any closer to the metro and near to lots of great restaurants and bars. Breakfast was great and varied and the staff on reception pleasant. Showers nice, beds comfy, rooms had everything you could need. Great!

The Metro was out side of our hotel and is a great way to see the city. Good value for the price. Even though there was construction in the park/square across the street it will be great when it get done. The room was clean and the staff was very courtious.

Gebuchtes 4-Bett-Zimmer war recht gross mit separater Toilette. Metro direkt vor dem Hotel.Z.Z. eine grosse Baustelle vor dem Hotel. Essen im Hotel-Restaurant sehr gut. Die Bedienung freundlich aber langsam.
