Hyvä sijainti!
Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, erityisesti shoppailijoille. Lähellä oli Les Hallesin ostoskeskus sekä Rue de Riviolin katu, jonka varrella on paljon kauppoja. Myös Louvren museoon ja Notre Dameen sekä Champs Elyseelle oli vain kävelymatka.

Don't stay here: Mouse in the room
We had booked ten superior class nights in Tonic Hotel Du Louvre in Paris. In the room we found out that here were three rat-traps. Week later we actually saw the mouse running around the room. After asking to change the room, we got a smaller standard room for the last night. The room was cleaned properly only once when we especially asked for it. Usually they changed only towels. Stay there only if you don´t mind the mise. Other wise don't stay.

Can't beat the location
We stayed at Hotel Tonic to be close to the Louvre and the Notre Dame. It was a perfect location and saved us money as we were two blocks from the train station back to the airport and right off the metro line. The staff was fluent in English, informative and very helpful. Breakfast was offered for a reasonable fee

good for the money
Hotel was a good place to rest from the days walking, the beds were o.k. the bathroom was small not bad, the elevator was for one person and the luggage. Not bad for a very old building. It was at walking distance form the Luv. from there we could walk a long strait walk using the Jardines des Tuleries to get to the Place de la Concordia, to the Chomp de Elysees. From there walk south to the Eiffel Tower. It was a good stay.

After the first day we wanted to have a good breakfast to last until 2pm so we found a buffet at Best Western Hotel on the back street of our hotel fresh breads, fruit, cheeses, eggs, bacon, coffee, tea, juice and more for 16 euros per person. Every item was very good. We ate after 2 at the museums, good food. At days end we gather at the hotel bar for coffee or tee with great tasting peistries which we bought around the corner.

Great hotel close to the Louvre.
The hotel tell was a 5 minute walk to the Louvre and right around the corner from many nice restaurants. The room had a nice rustic charm - old wood beam ceiling. The staff was helpful with tours and cabs. It must have it must have the world's smallest elevator, so if there is a family with luggage plan on taking 2 trips. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Easy walk to the Louvre, but if you want to take the double decker tour bus make sure you know where the closest stop is, otherwise you may do a lot of walking to find it.
