Unic Renoir Saint Germain Hotel

"Entirely refurbished" is quite a stretch; I would say "a bit run-down." In our room, small and a bit cramped but warm in December, there was everything necessary and it was clean. However, the mirror was cracked, the carpet was old, the TV was small and old, the shower door was bent out of shape and crusty with lime buildup... It was definitely not terrible, though, as some other people implied in their comments. We got a discount, so the room was worth it - if it'd been full price I wouldn't have been happy with it. The location is great, though. By the way, if French people seem rude, cold, or standoffish to you, like the receptionist at this hotel was, it's not because you're American: they treat everyone, foreign or French, with equal unfriendliness, abruptness, indifference and/or disdain. (I should also say that for all the rude French people I've come across, I've met many more polite ones!)

Not very good hotel to be honest. There was not working internet, although it has been promised. Bathrooms were not clean, rooms have been redecorated just after WWII. Most positive things were good price and lots of restaraunts near by.

toute petite chambre avec une petite TV déjà ancienne occupant tout l'espace du petit bureau :c'est la première déception en arrivant dans cette chambre que j'ai payée cher 140euros (prix initial 200!! et promotion sur la chambre à cette période) ensuite on ne s'arrête pas là:la cabine de douche fuit (la porte ne se ferme pas =>inondation dans la salle de bain que j'ai dû chauffer avec le sèche cheveux car le radiateur ne fonctionne pas! ma chambre était contiguë à l'ascenceur et une combinaison d'isolation phonique peu efficace et de clients bruyants ne m'a pas donné des conditions favorables à un sommeil réparateur. Quant au petit déjeuner (essentiellement des viennoiseries) il a été de la même qualité que le reste des prestations.Au total les prestations ne sont pas au niveau du classement .

Simply a shoddily ran operation. In a city with plenty of charming small hotels, I regret having booked this hotel.

Hotel très moyen, je croyais que les prix affichés dans la chambre étaient encore en franc. Petites prestations pour un prix norme. Nous pouvons trouver très largement des chambres plus grandes et plus luxueuse pour le même prix. Vraiment déçu. pour mo, 50 pour la surface de la chambre est grandement suffisant

Heureusement que nous n'avons payé 'que' 178 euros en lieu et place de 500 euros, car pour ce tarif la chambre était tout simplement inaceptable....

Overall it was a bad experience. The staff was quite unfriendly, a number of things weren't functioning: telephone, hair dryer. Although, the location was Ok but I would not be staying in this hotel again

both front desk staff were totally rude for no reason at all. made it clear that they didn't like american people. unbelievable

Charming hotel in good location at unbelievable price. Only complaint was that internet was expensive, didn't work, and was non-refundable.

Très bon accueil, je venais de faire un vol de nuit de 7H et la personne à l'accueil s'est arrangée pour m'avoir la première chambre de libre. Hôtel très bien situé, j'y reviendrai avec plaisir.
