Location

Located on a lively shopping street in the area of Bonn-Poppelsdorf, the President Hotel Bonn is just a short stroll away from the Botanical Gardens, the city centre, Beethoven, old city hall, the beautiful banks of the River Rhine and the shopping area. This property is a 20-minute drive from Cologne Airport.

Getting there by car: A 565, Cologne / Koblenz, Exit Bonn-Poppelsdorf; turn right at the first light into “Jagdweg”, turn right again into “Sternenburgstrasse” and right again on the second light into “Clemens-August-Straße”. You will find the hotel after 150 m on the left hand side. Getting there by train: Bonn Hauptbahnhof / Central station, take bus number 620 ( direction „Nervenklinik“), 624 ( direction „Röttgen“ ), 625 ( direction „Waldau“ ), 626 or 627 ( direction „Ippendorf“ ). Get off at fourth stop „Botanischer Garten“. You will find the hotel after 150 m on the right hand side. Getting there by plane: From Cologne airport take airport bus to Bonn Central Station (35-40 minutes). Then see above.

unkompliziert und gut

Habe 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Das Zimmer fand ich sauber und angenehm. Bett sehr bequem - ich habe gut geschlafen. Die Bedienung/Reception war höflich und zuvorkommend. Preis/Leistung meiner Ansicht nach sehr gut.

Nice hotel and location, excellent price

I only used the hotel as a base while visiting family, but it was great. An easy bus ride, or a short and pleasant walk, from the main station. Lots of nice bars and restaurants in the locality.

Clean, modern city hotel. WiFi

Clean, modern city hotel. WiFi throughout the hotel but dissapointing that this is a pay for hotspot rather then free. Restaurant was very good serving local dishes at reasonable prices. Good location in a busy area with plenty of local restaurants, bars and shopping.
