Novetel Munich Airport
This was just an overnight stay, but the staff was excellent and the location was perfect for my connecting flight. Easy to access from the airport with local bus. I paid 1.20 euros from airport, but nothing on return.

Excellent Experience
I had an over night layover in Munich and stayed at the Novotel Muenchen Airport. It is a short public bus ride to the hotel from Terminal 2 that comes every twenty minutes. Or a cab ride that costs 10 euro. Novotel is like a German version of a W hotel with a European sophistication. Breakfast was included and it is a excellent buffet. Staff was very helpful and the room was virtually new and very clean..... I will stay there again every time I have a layover in Munich.

Excellent airport business hotel
This is a beautiful, modern, immaculately clean business hotel. I worked a few hours at my desk. The internet is blazingly fast, and the room is a fine example of Euro design. New flat panel is mounted on a swing arm, with HDMI, VGA, USB ports easily available so it can be used as a monitor if you have a cable. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is sparkling, well supplied, and well lit. The restaurant is very cool, with good food. I will stay here again on a stopover.

The 635 bus leaves every 20 minutes. You can easily take it from the airport or from the hotel. It costs 1.20 EUR and you can pay the bus driver. A cab would be about 10 EUR.

Munich Novotel Hotel
The property is new and done in the typical austere/minimalist black, white and chrome European decor. Although I had hoped for walking distance from the terminal it was about a 7 minute bus ride (for 1 euro 20) to the hotel. The room was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the two computers in the lobby to print boarding passes were appreciated.

Take the bus to the hotel and terminal. It runs every 20 minutes and costs less than 3 euros round trip compared with 10 to 11 euros one way for a cab. The Novotel also has good signage to the bus within the terminal.

Munich Airport Novotel
Very good. It is very close to the airport - take the 635 Bus for about $3. It takes 10 minutes and comes by every 20 minutes. Nothing around at all so once you are there don't expect anything other than the hotel.

Bus from the hotel to airport is a public transportation bus that gets very crowded. It's only a couple stops, but a little frustrating and time consuming. Allow plenty of time to make your flight.

Good, new, hotel close to Munich airport
This hotel is close to the airport but not within walking distance from the terminal. You have to take a short bus trip to it: buses run from the airport at the rate of 3 per hour. (Alternatively, you can take a taxi, but unless you have a great deal of luggage, the bus is perfectly convenient; it cost just 1.20 euros each way.) This is a new building and the facilities were quite excellent. The price I paid was remarkably low (less than 100 euros per night), considering the quality of the rooms. I would certainly stay there again if I needed a place close to Munich airport.

This is an airport hotel, so shopping and the town center are quite a distance away. It is best suited to people either spending an overnight stay between flights or who have a flight leaving early in the morning.
