Rendezvous Grand Hotel Singapore

There are no superlatives to describe this hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful and so friendly. The area in which it stood was close to everything. Were I to visit Singapore I would have no hesitation staying there again - it was more than 5 star - it was amazing and thank you to all the personnel who helped to make a trip memorable.

The hotel was in a great location. There is a coffee bean right on the corner. The staff of the hotel were extremely helpful and went out of their way time and again when we needed something. My only problem with the hotel was that the rooms are TINY. Theres not much space to move around. The beds are also extremely small and pretty firm. Otherwise we had a great stay here

since we came to visit our kids studying in S-pore it was the best choice to stay in for parents.

Great place to saty and right in the heart of Singapore. Walked almost everywhere, taxi is cheap, staff very freindly, corteous, and will definetly book there again in February.

$26 Sing dollars a day for slow internet connection is an absolute rip-off. The mattresses were really hard. The location is great, and everything else is good about this hotel!

Value was great. Access to new MRT Cicle line was great. Hospitality was excellent. Some renovations going on, so some issues with taxis finding the correct entrance. Negative: standard problem in singapore, internet charges are absurd.

What a difference from the horrible experience of a 3 star hotel known as Value Hotel Nice. I almost left Singapore. This hotel saved me by providing nice, clean, comfortable accommodation at an exceptionally convenient location. The only drawback is no free Internet access.

Really enjoyed the stay at the hotel staff were allways pleasant and informative the rooom was very clean and the bed was quite firm but very comfortable. Renovations being carried out during the day but can honestly say it didn't affect us apart from only 1 lift accessable from the lobby but 2 more from the 1st floor with a large stairway between. The location made it very easy to access the MRT and Taxis always available outside. The Breakfast in the Straits cafe was good but a little bit expensive at s$35 per head. One of our party celebrated a birthday during our stay and the hotel staff sent a birthday cake and card from all the staff at the hotel which was very well received.

Wir hatten das Hotel als erstes von 3 Hotels für unsere Flitterwochen schon Monate vorher gebucht, und mussten leider bei Ankunft feststellen, dass das Hotel renoviert wird. Leider wurde uns das bei Buchung nicht mitgeteilt. Wir wurden zwar upgegraded und das Zimmer war auch schön. Aber wir mussten leider direkt am Montag morgens um 8 Baulärm anhören. Wir haben das bei der Rezeption reklamiert und wir bekamen ein anderes Zimmer. Was viel größer war, aber leider nicht mehr so neu wie das erste. Das Hotel ist aber von der Lage her super. Plaza Singapura ist direkt in der Nähe und gegenüber vom Hotel ein Foodcourt, der nur zu empfehlen ist! Sehr lecker! Was leider für ein Viersterne Hotel nicht passend war, war der Fön. Sehr nervenaufreibend, da er immer nur dann, wenn er Lust hatte, funktioniert hat. Was schade war, selbst als wir erwähnt hatten, dass es unsere Flitterwochen sind, wurde das einfach ignoriert. Wenn das Hotel fertig renoviert ist, ist es ein gutes Hotel. Aber vom Preis her schon zu teuer.

Location was very convenient; staff friendly and helpful. Renovations were being done, so great care taken that we weren't too upset about it all! I suspect the good value for money was to compensate for the renovation mess.
