Khum Phaya Resort & Spa, Centara Boutique Collection Chiang Mai features traditional Lanna or Northern Thailand design and intricate teak wood furnishings. This resort is set amidst a beautiful landscape consisting of an assembly of Thai mythological trees and flowers. In addition, the excellent facilities and personalised service offered at this resort make it ideal for business or leisure travellers. The Chiang Mai National Museum and Chiang Mai University Art Museum are about 8 kilometres from this property. Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep situated atop a hill is 30 minutes away.

Couple retreat-pool-side room

The surroundings of the resort itself were beautiful and the grounds were kept up fairly well. The breakfast was average. It was right next to a dinner show which was convenient. Other than that, it was not in the center of the city so a taxi would have to be called ahead of time. They provided a shuttle to and from the night market which was nice. We had a problem with loads of mosquitos which they came in and sprayed while we were away for the day. The floor needed mopping and the pool needed a good cleaning.
