Laluna Hotel and Resort Chiang Rai

We had a lovely room near the beautiful pool. Nice, well kept gardens. Helpful staff. The food could have been better.

Good base to travel to Golden Triangle and see more of the North and Chiang Rai. Very peaceful setting and lovely gardens. Friendly and helpful staff but lacks housekeeping management. We stayed 6 nights, probably 3 or 4 would have been better and we would have seen all we needed. The price we paid was very reasonable and overall very good value and if we ever returned to Chiang Mai we would probably stay there again.

The location wasn't bad, it was about a 15 minute walk to center. Tuktuks were easily avaiable and cost about 40 - 60 baht. The hotel grounds were beautiful and the cabins were comfortably furnished with a comfortable bed. Staff were generally friendly and the breakfast was good. Be aware that the services offered by the hotel(taxi ride to the airport, restuarant food, internet) are considerably more expensive than what you can find in the town and surrounding neighborhood.

今年の5月に続き宿泊したが、相変わらず、朝食の目玉焼きが半熟でないのが残念。　インターネットが有料（1時間50バーツ）になってた。　前回はデラックスで今回はスーペリアに宿泊したが、違いはアメニティーの綿棒があり、バスローブが着れるくらいなので、スーペリアがお得です。

I was amazed at the value for such a price(even in Chiang Rai). The hotel is spotless, with someone always cleaning the grounds and lobby. The room is very comfortable and clean..housekeeping is not only great,they even leave your room smelling fresh. The location is close to market and tours available in lobby. You will not be disappointed. Oh yes, the free internet works great and the free breakfast Buffet is absolutley fantastic.

Laluna Hotel in Chiang Rai was within walking distance of the main downtown shopping streets and night market. The tour desk in the lobby was convenient and priced appropriately with tour agencies in town. The hotel was beautiful ... our room was lovely and comfortable, situated by the pool. The grounds were gorgeous ... it was similar to staying in botanic gardens. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was excellent.

We stayed only one night here and wished we had stayed more. cant speak more highly of this property the best value for money in thailand. Staff were amazing beds the most comfortable and they make the best cocktails.I would advise to book a superior room as they are around the pool area. rooms are large and have a big fridge so if you re staying longer this would be great.

It is for a holiday place. Apart from city center, and bit inconvenient to take transportation such as tukutuku. The individual room is under quiet environment and garden and swimming pool are nice. The hotel price is very fair.

I thought this place was quite good, the staff polite and helpful and rooms clean. Breakfast fine. Not too far away from anything. A few funny things though - internet access "50 baht per hour" but if you wanted 5 mins only, still 50 baht and no credit to use later. Also, paying 50 baht for a safe [near reception] seemed a bit rich. Overall, I was happy with this place, would stay again.
