Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort features facilities such as therapeutic treatments at the spa, refreshing swims in the swimming pool and energetic workouts in the gym. Popular places of interest of Chiang Rai are Wat Phrathat Doi Tong, Chiang Rai Night Bazaar and Tham Khao Luang Cave.

Location

Located in the city of Chiang Rai along the Mae Kok River, Le Meridien Resort is just a short drive from Chiang Rai Airport and within a mile from the King Meng Rai Monument. Famous attractions of the area are Rai Mae Fah Luang, Namtok Khun Kon Forest Park and Oub Kham Museum.

By Bus Guests may also fly to Chiang Mai International Airport, and transfer by land to Chiang Rai through regional bus service or limousine service based in Chiang Mai. Alternatively, the resort can arrange limousine pick-up service at a fee. By Private Car Service A chauffeur driven limousine for any occasion may be arranged in advance with the resort's concierge, with one-way airport transfer costing THB 600. The concierge can assist guests with information and arrangements for taxis, limousines, and rental cars. Other, more exotic options may be explored with the concierge such as transfers by elephant or river cruise. By Taxi Guests are recommended to fly into Chiang Rai International Airport, which is approximately 10 minutes drive from the hotel. A transfer may be necessary in in Bangkok or Chiang Mai, if arriving from an international location. A taxi ride from the Chiang Rai airport to the hotel costs about THB 200.

Very good experience

Very pleased with our overall stay. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was excellent. The restaurant was a little pricey and not quite as authentic as we would have liked, but still good.

Beautiful resort and faultless

Beautiful resort and faultless service, staff went out of their way to be helpful, fantastic conceirge who tried to help with our travel arrangments, even before our arrival. The offer of breakfast in our room before breakfast started in restaurant to accommodate our very early departure from the hotel(best bacon ever). To us just being caught as we departed by room service running with a pair of sandals we had left behind. Best service ever. Children loved it.
