Narawan Hotel Hua Hin

Hotelli on junaradan varressa, lähellä vartioimatonta, valotonta tasoristeystä, joten junat huutavat merkiksi yötö-päivää. Aivan hotellin lähellä on rakennustyömaa, jossa kolkutetaan melkein koko yö, jopa viikonloppuna, siis ei sovi huonosti nukkuville. Asiakkaiden hissin vieressä oli siivousteline jossa likaiset siivousräti roikkuivat, kuin jossain yömajassa. Kuuden hengen seurueellamme oli kolme huonetta. Yhdessä ei saatu ilmastoinnin kaukosäädintä pelaamaan, kunnes vasta usean pyynnön jälkeen toiselle viikolle (ilmastointilaite oli katon rajassa, saadakseen ilmastoinnin päälle oli noustava tuolille). Kaikilla parvekkeilla ei ollut tuoleja, niitäkin piti pytää useampaan kertaan. Siivous huolimatonta, laseja ja kuppeja ei aina pesty, saippuoita toimitettiin satunnaisesti, ja jo alussa tukossa ollutta viemäriä piti pyytää aukaisemaan useasti. Vuodevaatteet ja pyyhkeet rikkinäisiä. Aamiainen oli sama koko ajan, kinkut ja nakit lötköttivät haaleassa vedessä, ei olla totuttu tälläiseen Thaimaassa, vaikka on oltu ennenkin kolmen tähden hotellissa. Uima-allas todella pieni. Safety Boxia ei ollut huoneessa. Henkilökunta oli kyllä Thaimaalaiseen tapaan ystävällistä. Tämä hotelli ei mielestämme missään tapauksessa ole kolmen tähden luokituksen mukainen-> korkeintaan 1-1.5. Matkamme pelasti upeat säät, omatoimiretket ympäristöön ja mukavat matkakumppanit. Hotellissa ei paljon viihdytty.

Ett mycket dåligt läge. Störande tåg som tutade högt när det åkte förbi. Poolen låg vid sidan om en starkt trafikerad väg med störande trafik, bara ett plank avskiljde, och ett pågående bygge mitt emot hotellet störde mycket. Städningen var undermånlig, hittade rester av godis från föregående hotellgäst under sängen, dålig frukost knappt ätbar. Mycket dålig service, b la var det trasiga lampor på rummet och balkondörren gick inte att låsa, vilket vi talade om för personalen. De gjorde inget åt detta. Ett riktigt dåligt hotell, ej prisvärt !!

Stayed for two weeks and found that the hotel was certainly worth the money paid. It was clear however why the Hotel was cheap as the location is not the best tough by next year may have improved. Although we had been forewarned about the closeness of the railway tracks and the sound of warning horns with every passing train day or night we were surprised as to how much building work was going on around the Hotel. We were disappointed with the reception staff however as during our stay they made little effort to communicate or even so much as acknowledge our presence. The claning staff however were always friendly and ready with a cheery good morning and a smile. The breakfast could have been much better the tea and coffee was quite awful and often the fried eggs ,sausage and weird rubber sliced stuff were cold.The sight and taste of cold fried egg with accompanying surface of congaled fat resulted in us often bypassing this meal. The nearest beach was only 800 yds away but we found a better beach at Khao Takiab which could be reached by local bus which basically picked up anywhere en route in our case across the road from the end of soi94. cost 10 bht each any distance. It did be warned pick up anyone which did result in very full passenger loads.We on one occasion counted 27 persons on a vehicle with ten seats. Tuk Tuks are plentiful but can be expensive always agree cost with driver before boarding. Nearest nightlife is Hua Hin a fair distance off. Again a local bus which can be stopped outside the hotel will get you into town but later a tuk tuk will be needed for the return. Hotel swimming pool really clean and we saw every day that it was checked and cleaned properly. Overall for the cost this was good value for money but no doubt when the building work is finished the charges will increase and at this point the general staff attitude will need to improve. If the train crossing was gated it would also stop the need for the sound of horns. So yes good place to stay on a budget.

Room to stay But not the sound I would not go further

Comparing with the price, the breakfast is quite simple. The staffs are warm and eager to help, service is timely, room is big enough with a balcony. We rent a motorbike which is 200B per day, it's very helpful to take us everywhere we want to go, otherwise, I think it's quite tough to go to train station, night market. It's near the sea, a big mall and some small resturants. Generally speaking, it's a nice hotel! Suggest them to install a lift which will be very useful, but if they don't install, it's fine, the staffs would help you to carry your suitcase upstairs and if you can remember to give tips, they will be very happy. the only thing I don't like is they give torn, worn face towels. I asked the cleaner changed them when they put the same kind of towels the second time. In short, it's a nice, clean hotel and I would like to recommend it to others.

Pretty good for the price you pay. One major complaint was the poor air conditioning, which made the room almost never cool. The reception people didn't really speak english and could therefore not help us with very much. The location is close to restaurants and malls, but a little far from the main area. The scooters we rented were a nice way to get around as the taxis seemed very expensive. The food was average and nothing to get excited about. The place was very clean and safe. The pool was very small and quickly overcrowded. The photos make it look more picturesque than it was. Worth going as long as you don't expect much.

５階の部屋だったが、エレベーターが無く、上り下りが大変。部屋の清掃が悪く埃だらけ。あげくに部屋には何十匹という蚊がいて子供たちが刺されまくりでした。残念ながら評価出来るポイントはありません。

We think that the location of hotel was ok, but maybe a bit far from the beach. To compensate for that, the hotel has a lovely swimmingpool. It occured to us, that perhaps the hotel would benefit from having a restaurant, but that of course is a matter of cost. Overall we liked the hotel, and the crew was very nice. Thank you for lovely stay.
