Amata Resort Phuket

Perfect hotel for people on budget, clean, good breakfast, nice staff, right in the centre of town-walking distance to Bangla, beach (although we did not like Patong beach but travelled to Kata Noi instead), shopping mall-perfect location if you are not looking for a place to stay somewhere quiet of course. Although in the centre, it is still quiet so you can have nice sleep. One minus thing is the view from our balcony to the old shabby house with pigeons on the roof but it did not matter to us as we were only sleeping in the room. Maybe is more suitable for people travelling for nightlife thanks to location, but we saw many families there too. I would definitely return to the hotel.

Cet hôtel est vraiment très bien situé, le petit-déjeuner est assez bon et les deux piscines très agréables. Particulièrement celle sur le toit. Wifi gratuit, ordinateur à disposition à l'accueil. En revanche, le personnel de la réception n'est pas très accueillant ni souriant contrairement aux autres. Chambre réservée non disponible la première nuit, ils nous en ont donné une de catégorie inférieure, sans aucune compensation. Nous avons changé deux fois de chambre et en résumé : certaines serviettes étaient élimées, un des matelas complètement défoncé. A l'accueil ils faisaient mine de ne pas comprendre et n'ont rien fait pour atténuer la gêne occasionnée. Si vous tombez sur une chambre sympa et n'avez aucune demande particulière, cet hôtel fera l'affaire car très bien placé.

Also ich kann das Hotel wirklich nur empfehlen und auch nach längerem überlegen fällt mir wirklich nichts ein worüber ich etwas negatives berichten könnte. Die Lage ist absolut top. 5 Minuten zu Fuss ins absolute Getümmel und auch zum Strand braucht man nicht länger wenn man durch die gegenüberliegende Hotelanlage geht, was problemlos möglich ist.Man brauch eigentlich nie ein Tuc-Tuc-Taxi,welche auch ganz schön hohe Preise haben. Wir hatten das Zimmer 834 im Nachbargebäude im 8.Stock mit Top-Meerblick und Aussicht über Patong.Der Dachpool war ebenfalls der Hammer.Sonne bis zum Abwinken und die Aussicht direkt aus dem Pool einfach Klasse. Auch die Sauberkeit,die Kingsize-Betten,die Einrichtung und die Freundlichkeit des Personals war sehr gut. Es war genau die richtige Wahl.Wir waren im Mai 2012 für 17 Tage dort und es war wirklich Spitze!! Nur das Wetter hätte etwas besser sein können !! Naja man kann halt nicht alles haben...

We finally got the room we wanted facing the pool & would recommend that you ask for one. Breakfast is just ok but the cold food is not covered & flies get on it so pick from the bottom. Staff are really good. Pool caters more for 18 - 25 year olds with constant music but, as it is small with few sunbeds, we didn't bother with it. Main road is a nightmare to cross & virtually every trader pesters you (just ignore them, do NOT get into conversation)..

Très bien situé, mais attention quand on clique sur la carte du site, l'hotel n'est pas au bon endroit. La situation réelle est dans une petite rue en face le grand batiment rose "Christine massage". On peut rentrer le soir tard sans problème de sécurité. Le matelas est dur, dur. Le petit dej. est correcte, mais pas de viennoiserie.

great hotel,very helpful staff, 10 mins to the main walking street where the night life is but on the way many shops busy road selling great things. i am booking to stay there again. bu after 11pm the area outside hotel but on main road part, is full of ladyboys i found that a smile and polite no thank you is enough. its ok for children very warm swimming pool i loved it.
