Club Bamboo Boutique Resort and Spa

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hotel : personnel très agréable et souriant, chambre propre, peu bruyant. Bon emplacement. Le seul point moyen est le petit déjeuner : peu de choix et il faut pas arriver à 10h (heure limite) car il n'y a plus beaucoup de choix. Si nous retournons à PHUKET, nous retournerons au CLUB BAMBOU !

I stayed in one of the bungalow rooms with a 'view' of the local sewage pond. When you are greeted with an empty can of insecticide inside your room you know something ain't right. Termite infested floor boards, small millipedes in the bathroom, mouse droppings around the perimeter and mosquitoes flying around the room pretty much says this place has seen better days. Breakfast is expensive for what it is and uninspired. Add the remote location (which could be nice) and the inconvenient and unreliable "shuttle bus" to the beach (forcing you to take expensive ($8 to $10) tuk-tuks, you are better off looking at the many newer hotels that may cost a bit more but offer a better overall experience closer to the beach.

Found staff mostly polite but mainly unable to communicate basic customer requests, making for embarrissing and unneccessary situations. First night ALL power to room went off while I was in the shower, result injury slipping trying to get out of the shower / bath in pitch dark. A Showers connection burst, hot water everywhere. Second room I was moved a sticky goo came through a hatch above the main entry door over head. The sound of little creatures wondering around overhead in the Ceiling. Very poor food in their restaurant in the evening. A one time, never again experience. The desire to charge for absolutely everything they can was the policy of this very basic, poorly maintained, poorly invested and shabby Hotel.

Nice al the way 'round. Get motor bike taxi, or rent one. Deal for things it works.

The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful, the pool was nice but very poorly located, and the food was terrible and overpriced. Along side of the fact that the "spa" was 2 to 3 times the cost of any other place for the same treatments and massages. The fat receptionist is unhelpful and rude. She will lead you to do events at exorbitant high prices and act like she is better than you. Pool/Food issues: The pool is poorly designed and backwards were one can never sunbath around the pool. The sun is blocked or directed in the opposite direction. As for the food stay away. The "shrimp cocktail" comes with thousand island dressing and all of five medium size shrimp. The daily special drinks are overpriced and under-alcoholed, and of course the bruchetta has no cheese, is a garlic mess, and for some reason has tons of salt. The rooms themselves are nice but as a person looking to be near the "action" but in a tranquil place find another location. This terrible place is away from the action but anything but peaceful. Overall, overpriced at anything above 2000 baht a night, rude staff that is not helpful, and a poor choice to stay. On another note there is a fabulous little outdoor kitchen at the bottom of the hill from the hotel-- "boutique" my posterior--that serves wonderful Thai food at a great price.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. Nice facilities and very clean. overall very good experience. Location is not so close to the heart of patong but still worth it.

for the price this hotel is very good. top service always freindly and helpful i would stay again.its queit and relaxing surrounds make it a nice place to be .just a 3 minute drive to beach or bangla or 15 min walk

Was good value for price. Free shuttle to Patong was good as 10 minute drive down hill. Spa/ massage is excellent and restaurant staff were great cooked our fresh tuna caught in 4 Thai dishes that was fantastic! Checkout disorganised - 20 minutes to sort out as item on bill not ours and problems with printer. They forgot to produce bill for 5 days room stay and rang us 2 days later at 2nd Kata resort we were staying at so left $ with hotel staff there for Club Bamboo staff to pickup - just as well we are honest!

Good value for money. Clean and basic accommodation, nice pool although a bit small to do any real swimming. Away from the hustle and bustle of Patong but very convenient free hourly shuttle bus to beach.

The staff are friendly and nice, however, the breakfast taste average and the locatino is not very convenience.
