Elysee Hotel Prague

Rien à redire, voilà ce qui résume le mieux notre séjour à l'hôtel Élysée! Nous avions réservé un pack vol+hôtel qui ne nous ait vraiment pas revenu cher, plus encore quand on voit la localisation de l'hôtel (à 5 minutes à peine à pied de la vieille ville, dans une rue commerçante de la nouvelle ville mais suffisamment retirée pour ne pas en avoir le bruit). Insonorisation parfaite des chambres qui sont très spacieuses, propres et parfaitement équipées (baignoire, sèche-cheveux, bureau, frigo...). Les petits-déjeuners, très variés et copieux, sont inclus dans le prix! Personnel efficace. En bref, à conseiller!

Bon hôtel extrêmement bien situé, chambre confortable, bon petit-déjeuner buffet.

Our room was clean, modern, and spacious (even by American standards), with attractive hard wood floors and red draperies that glowed in the morning light. The location was in the heart of activity on Wenceslas Square and within a short walking distance to Old Town, the Charles Bridge, and tons of shops and restaurants. The hotel staff members were pleasant, efficient and helpful -- they arranged two tours and a shuttle back to the airport for us -- in Euros. Free breakfast buffet was typical European fare with an unexpected, delicious selection of Czech breads. Nice plus: Free Wi-fi and a computer in the lobby. The only, slight drawback was a hand-held shower in the tub -- but there was a heated towel rack. While our view looked onto a demolition project in the middle of the block, looking up instead of down provided a view of tower tops, and with the sheers drawn and windows open, it was still a very pleasant experience. We discovered the selection of massages and spa-like activities in the hotel too late to participate, but the prices were low and we definitely would have put this early on our list. We would stay there again.

l hotel est situe en plein centre ville, 15 min à Pieds pour rejoindre la vieille ville, et metro, tram à proximite . personnel tres accueillant chambre confortable, il n y a que la vue qui donne sur une courette pas géniale

The location was near public transportation. Right outside the hotel were all manner of eateries. The square was lively most hours.

The hotel lacks creature comforts but the staff is very friendly and helpful. No AC in regular rooms unless you get an apartment. The door to the plaza where the hotel door is located closes at midnight but you can be escorted in after buzzing the front desk. Other minor inconveniences; no door on the shower; no tissues; and the location of the hotel is the center of stag party activity but the hotel is on the inner section of the block and relatively quiet. I wanted to change hotels the first day but others are more expensive and the staff won me over.

The Hotel Elysee was a little bit difficult to find, but once you knew the big green neon fish sign was over the building entrance it was a piece of cake. The hotel itself was down a corridor after going through the entrance. The staff was very helpful, the hotel shuttle was inexpensive, the rooms were very clean, and the bathroom new and extremely nice. It was located right on Wenceslaus Square in the heart of all the night life, and extremely accessible to Old Town, the Jewish Quarter and the Little Quarter...all within easy walking distance. Restaurants and shops were everywhere on the square and also a few grocery stores. I would easily stay again. I gave it 4 stars because we had a little trouble locating it.

The arcade entry is a little offputting however quite safe.Motel itself was very clean and comfortable and well located -even has tea/coffee making facilities in the room.Nice breakfast in new breakfast room within the motel. Staff were friendly & helpful. Would certainly stay again and recommend

We enjoyed our stay Elysee Hotel. It is located right on Wencelas Square so it is very centrally located and makes walking to all the main attractions in the old part of Prague very easy. The room was smaller then what I was expecting. It was much smaller then the photos I had seen online. I think this might have had to do with the configuration of the room we got because housekeeping had the door open to a room near ours and it was larger. Even though the room wasn't as large as I expected it was adaquate for two people and nicely decorated. Our room was on the inner ring of the building away from the square and was surprisingly quite. Each night we slept with the window open and could only ocassionally hear the commotion from the square. I believe the website side they have parking which isn't true. We did find underground parking about a block away but it is expensive. The people at the front desk were very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. It isn't anything special, your standard European breakfast, but it meet our needs. While the square is very busy at all hours it felt very safe. There is a large police presence in most of the tourist areas. I would recommend this hotel unless you are looking for fancy or lots of amenities. Have a nice stay.
