Excellent hotel and locatıon! Short walk to Red Square, Bolshoi, GUM, and Metro. Eatıng ın the hotel can be expensıve . . . our billıng at checkout for three nıghts was almost what we paıd for the accommodation. Savıng on tıme wıth taxıs probably made up for iı. Highly Recmmended!

A tourists review
The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly, and I got the room at a very good price. They seem to be acustom to business people and not use to tourists, such as myself though. Still, if you are visiting Moscow I highly recommend the Hotel National, Moscow.

The hotel is a short walk from the greatest attractions in Moscow as well as 3 shopping malls.

Zentral, angenehm, nettes ambiente
Freundlicher Empfang, schön ausgestattetes Zimmer mit grossem, bequemen Bett, Badezimmer etwas klein. Guter Service, Frühstückspreise überrissen. Concierge und Portier höflich und hilfreich. Aufgrund einer Wasserleitungsstörung während 24 Stunden dreckiges Wasser zum Duschen, Orientierung erst nach Nachfragen!. Obwohl Nichraucherzimmer gewählt starke nicht eliminierbare Zigarettendüfte.

Great location
Dissapointing because the internet did not work well and the shower temperature could not be controlled. The staff did not do anything to correct these problems despite many complaints

Top Quality Hotel but Pricey
Situated perfectly opposite the Kremlin and Red Square. All the key tourist spots are within easy walking distance and everything else is easily accessible via the Metro. Top quality staff, great friendly attitude and very professional. Good command of English. Only complaint is the staggering price of the food and drinks at the hotel. £12 for a coke, £10 for a hot chocolate etc. Even if you are wealthy this is price gouging. Took the edge off an otherwise perfect stay.

Don't bother seeing Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil at the Kremlin. I have seen CdS in most places around the world and this is by far the weakest dullest show they do.

Perfect location
Amazing location - Red Square and the Kremlin are just accross the road, the Bolshoi just round the corner, Metro 1 mins walk. Fabulous hotel, really enjoyed our stay there. Food and drink in the hotel are very expensive, but you are staying in the equivalent of a 5* hotel in Knightsbridge, London, so I guess this is to be expected. If we go back to Moscow we would choose this hotel again.

Great place to stay.
I participated at the International Real Estate Exhibition, which was located at the Gostiniy Dvor, near the Red Square. I walked 10 minute from the Hotel and avoid all Moscow traffic. Also shopping, dinning, nightlife, entertainment are in a walking distance.

Great Location & Service
Location cannot be beat. Splurge for a room with a view. Rooms elegant and well appointed. Rates much more reasonable on weekends. Front desk staff was very helpful. Concierge service was good but would not rate as great - perhaps adequate is a good word. Gym on roof is adequate but could use a makeover. Would definitely stay here again!
