Palomar Phoenix CityScape a Kimpton Hotel

We were in town to watch a few baseball games at Chase field. The hotel's location is perfect for this as the baseball stadium is only a short walk away from the hotel. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance as well. The hotel has a very modern feel to it, is very clean, and has comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful and quickly fulfilled any request we had. Their outdoor pool on the third floor has a cool view. It is definitely a place I would stay again.

great staff, attentive, timely, friendly, helpful. Hotel still under construction, gym is outside of the building, have to exit, walk across promenade and use Gold's gym nearby as opposed to facilities within the hotel building. Major issue was not being able to obtain receipt with guest's names for purposes of documentation during a business trip since room was prepaid in advance. Otherwise superb accommodations, location and cleanliness.

The hotel was beautiful. We were in Phx for a 5k and choose Palomar, because of the location to this event. It is a beautiful hotel with a friendly staff. The pool/bar was hosting a Pride event which was entertaining, but not our regular scene. We ventured across the street for some live music and beers. All in all a great place to stay!

Plus: My stay at the Palomar offered convenience to major locations including arts, entertainment and restaurants. The door staff were friendly and ensured that guests had ample information and directions to locations near and far. Delta: The desk staff left something to be desired and were not nearly as engaging. The hotel charged .79 per copy for printing. Also, guests pay a $7.95 access to the Internet in the business service office...in 2013, why? Overall, a good stay. The hotel is lovely however, I'll likely book at my traditional spots (Marriott or Hyatt) next visit.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect! It was close to bars, restaurants, sports venues and more! Having access to Golds Gym as a hotel guest was great, beautiful facility! This hotel staff was incredibly accomodating and friendly. It was a beautiful and sparkling clean place. We will definately return and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time!

Within walking distance to downtown attractions. Also several resteraunts nearby. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff was very friendly.

What a perfect location with easy access to light rail for exploring! The hotel staff was great and very helpful in providing local events, how to get there and just all around pleasant. Hotel is close to sports venues and entertainment...you can take a look from the pool level. I wasn't sure how I was going to like being downtown anywhere but it really was a nice location with gym an arm length away, places to eat outside the hotel and CVS close by for those things you need to pick up. It was a great vacation.

The Kimpton hotel group did it again. I've had troube finding a hotel that fits my style in Phoenix but now I'm good. Friendly staff, good parking, plenty of stuff right next door, downtown location....... Done

REASON FOR SELECTING WAS BECAUSE IT IS NEW AND DOWNTOWN AND ECO FEATURES/SELECTIONS. THE STAFF WERE REALLY ATTENTIVE AND JUST NICE. ASK A QUESTION AND THEY GO OUT OF THE WAY TO HELP YOU AND MAKE SUGGESTIONS. ROOM WAS VERY RELAXING AND NEAR ALOT OF VENUES. IT IS NEAR LIGHT RAIL SO YOU CAN GET OUT AND ABOUT. A BONUS IS YOU CAN USE GOLD'S GYM RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR. IT WAS A NICE TOUCH TO HAVE NICE COLD H2O AVAILABLE WHEN YOU RETURNED AND THE WINE AT THE END OF THE DAY. I DON'T GET OUT MUCH SO THIS WAS A SPECIAL TREAT AND WHILE I DO NOT LIKE STAYING AT HOTELS....THIS IS AN EXCEPTION. I ATE ONLY ONCE AT THE RESTAURANT AND THAT WAS FOR BREAKFAST...A LITTLE PRICEY AND THE WAIT WAS LONG. MAY BE A WORK IN PROCESS ON THAT SIDE. FOR SURE....THE ROOMS ARE COZY..NICE SOOTHING COLORS, MATERIALS, AND CLEAN.....WHEN THE ROOM WAS CLEANED DURING THE STAY IT WAS SPOTLESS. THE STAFF KNOWS WHAT HOSPITALITY IS AND THAT IS A RARE THING THESE DAYS. CHECK THEM OUT FOR YOURSELF- DON'T THINK YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. PLACES VISITED DURING STAY WAS TEMPE AND THE SHOPS, SCOTTSDALE SHOPPING AND CHECKING OUT THE SHOPS ON 5TH AVE AND OLD TOWN, HIKE UP CAMELBACK MTN- DON'T DO THE NIGHTLIFE SCENE SO NOT SURE WHAT IS AVAILABLE. BUT, IF THERE'S SOMETHING JUST ASK AND YOU CAN GET THE INFORMATION.

The Palomar Hotel in Phoenix is brand new and its amenities reflect that. The hotel staff are friendly and focused on good customer service. The place is trendy and carries a cool atmosphere. The restaurant is decent but could use some better entrees.
