Hotel Solaire Los Angeles

We pulled up to the property and were approached by street people. I was with my family and did not feel safe at all to even get out of the car to check-in. We left from there and looked for another hotel and ended up not staying here. The hotel amenities may be good but I have no way of telling.

If you are on a budget but still want a hotel that is clean, helpful and friendly staff this hotel is definetely for you.

Hôtel correct pour un court séjour, en tant que vacancier. Par contre, pour le travail (je participais à une conférence à l'hôtel Marriott situé Downtown), je ne le recommanderais pas, contrairement à la publicité qu'ils en font sur leur site. A pied, c'est tout de même assez loin, de l'autre côté d'une 6 voies (!) Si la chambre donne sur un couloir fermé, ça peut aller sinon en coursive, c'est très bruyant (j'ai demandé à changer de chambre dès le premier soir). Enfin, la salle du petit-déjeuner : un mouchoir de poche, obligée un matin de déjeuner debout !!

The Hotel was very dirty, i red this already from the previous comments but i didn't think it would be that worst. The staff is not very motivated poor breakfast buffet not enough parking too loud

Well to start off upon checking in the rooms were way too hot and stuffy. To be honest there was a musty smell. We chose this place because it was close to the wedding chapel. The beds were actually really hard and we saw multiple roaches, YES ROACHES! I was supposed to be concerned about my wedding not if bugs would get into my bags!!! When told they said " so sorry we will get sprayed as soon as you check out" . Why would it matter if they did that after our stay is beyond me. After finding more and even taking a picture to prove it they said they'd move our rooms for free. Considering we got two rooms there, one on the first floor and one on the third, it wasn't that big of help since the bugs were found in both rooms. We were told to callon Tuesday to see If anything else could be done since the manager wouldn't be working until then. Not happy that we spent the day before and night of our wedding here, needless to say we won't be back.

When we first checked in in the daytime there was a little tiny roach, I thought (unwisely) that it must be an isolated bug. Then when we came back to our room that night, after being out, the room was very active with all sizes of cockroaches scampering for cover. They were all over the room: tub, walls, desk, floors,etc. We asked for another room, and luckily there was ONE left, and luckily, that did not have any roaches that we could see. The first room was on the second floor, room 232. I think the room needs to be gutted to reach all the breeding nooks and crannies, and who knows how many more rooms are infested! We were not offered a refund or anything for the inconvenience. The continental breakfast was not good, the muffins were cut in two, and very low quality. The hotel offers smoking and non-smoking rooms, but the we could smell smoke permeating the hallways throughout.

Living Green is the motto, and I appreciate it. They have an electric car charging station by the front door! Just wish I had the sort of car that could use it. I would stay there again.

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Great service and Continental breakfast! Great experience!

People are friendly, and the breakfast is good. Parking is only $2 / stay.
