Miyako Hotel Los Angeles

Hotel Miyako is well located right in the middle of Little Tokyo and close to the Union station. Although advertised as a Japanese hotel nothing really stands out except for a Japanese themed spa on the 3rd floor. The rooms are clean and well maintained but surprisingly the bathrooms had no exhaust fans and the Wi-Fi was spotty. Overall a good place to stay but a little overpriced for what we got.

The staff gave great advice on going to the concert. Felt safe and was less than two miles to the Staples.

I feel its bit too expensive for what I got. The room is clean The location was bit off from area where there is easy access to Deli

Stranded by train scheduling in L.A. for one night and needed lodging close to Union Station. Miyako was perfect! Easy walk to and from train station. Great location in Little Tokyo...lovely restaurants and shops in a super-safe lacale. Room was a little small but had everything we needed. Comfy king bed, new flat-screen and DVD, sitting table with 2 chairs, and one of those "special" Japanese toilets. Found the Miyako by accident but will definately stay there again, the next time I'm sightseeing in L.A.

Pros; Good location, accessibility, courtesy staff, room is clean and comfortable Cons: Parking fee of $19 per day. I should have opted to park next door (City Parking), $14/day Loud noise in the room when heat comes on Safe deposit box did not work

Good hotel that needs to update the comfort in the rooms. Air conditioning/heat makes an awful noise somewhat disturbing when you need a peaceful sleep. Valet parking is expensive ($19.00 vs. $5.00 in a public parking right behind). Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Nice area of down town LA, the hotel location right in the heart of little tokyo.nice young croud, resturants, very safe, definetly rediscovering this jewel that called little Tokyo.

wonderful!! This was a great stay because of the staff, location, room, and amenities.

Staying in Miyako was very different from the lobby. However, the room design was exactly same as any other hotel. The bed was clean and I loved biden that installed in the bathroom. However, there is no fan in the bathroom. Plus I was very unhappy with a fact that I have to pay $14.00 for each day for parking. Hotel staff said there is no wave for hotel guest.
