The Bristol Hotel

Very pleasant. Chose the street side for the view, though the staff tell you that it will be a little noisier than the side with the wall. Wonderful to be a block from the trolley and a block from the shopping mall. Walked to the beach; great stroll.

1st we wanted a SMOKING room,witch it showed that they offered and when we got there they said ALL rooms were NON-SMOKING,so we had to walk in & out of the hotel all night.There was a $26 PARKING FEE.The room had a view of the rusted side wall of the hotel.

Great service with free wifi access. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The price was unbeatable.

I visited all the beaches, the museums, the Zoo, and Sea World. If they had the big map for ALL troleys and busses at the hotel, it would have been really nice. It's available at the Old Town Station. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they did not disturb my whole vacation a bit.

A cute little gem in downtown San Diego....My husband and I just spend a 4 day weekend in San Diego and found a cute little gem called the Bristol Hotel. We felt that the location was great, you could walk or take the trolley to just about anywhere downtown. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quite large for a hotel room, we had the king, and breakfast was included daily. The only downfall was that there was an earthquake during our stay, but the hotel had no problems. The only complaint I had is the valet parking cost. We would defiantly stay here again.

Great location to all of the downtown points of interest. Very close to the trolley! Perfect place if you are looking for a comfortable hotel and don't plan on spending too much time there since they don't have much to do at the hotel itself. Staff was friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

Great value. Great location. Modern look. Rooms are decent size and clean. TV and FREE INETERNET! (Love it!) Staff is friendly and helpful. Fast check in/check out. Walking distance to shopping mall and close to other attractions – park, museums, zoo, nightlife, restaurants, Seaport Village… It's all right there. I recommend the hotel.

Very good experience. Very good breakfast that I got included. Very close to gaslamp district. No real negatives. Rooms were nice enough. Wireless internet was weak in my room. Could connect, but frequently lost signal. Fortunately I had my iphone. Overall a very good experience.

I had a great stay at this hotel, the check in and check out process was fast and easy. The front desk assisted us with menu's of nearby restaraunts and directions to meet our needs. Really clean/nice rooms for the price we paid.

This hotel is central in downtown San Diego and within easy walking distance of the Gaslamp area, Convention Center, theaters,public transportation (trolley, Amtrak, busses) etc. The dining room is excellent quality and reasonable. The rooms are spotless, beds very comfortable and the decor is updated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We checked rooms and rates in surrounding hotels while we were there and are extremely pleased with the Bristol- plan to return next year!
