JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square

The hotel is in a great location. Everyone at the hotel wanted everyone to have an enjoyable stay. I deffinately would go back there again.

So the staff was friendly, the room was nice, cleanliness, not so much. Upon going in the (very small) shower the first morning, my wife noticed hair stuck to the shower wall from the previous occupants. That morning I went down and asked them to send someone up specifically to clean the shower the shower, came back the following evening and the hair was still there. I returned again to the lobby the following morning and again requested they send someone to clean the shower, and returned the following afternoon to find the hair stuck to the wall still there. After a third time and asking to speak to the manager they sent someone up that night and the shower was finally cleaned. The second issue I had was with the billing, in short, the hotel placed a $2300 hold on my bank account for my $837 reservation when they (the hotel) couldn't get a hold of Orb. When I called 5 minutes later, Orb had no issues finding my reservation.

People are very helpful, and friendly as well. Nicer than the last time I was there. Valet service was excellent.

I opted for guaranteed comfort over a "quaint" character hotel and this place delivered. Very clean, elegant, comfy room, and we got the top floor with a view - foggy of course!

The hotel was in the best location for all of our fun. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were kept very clean. Had problems with internet service but was reinbursed for it at the end.

I did cancel my trip because my girlfriend had a car accident and the hotel did not allow me to reschedule my reservation at another day.

loved the 42" flat screen t.v. The staff were verY helpful and friendly, room service was a half an hour late but stiLl hot and tastey.

The overall experience was good , the location of the hotel is close to Union Square , just 2 blocks away . The building is a little bit old , its not what a JW Marriot usually offers , but the rooms were ok , specially the bathrooms , which were very clean and spacious . The hotel doesnt offer many amenities regarding public spaces , just a medium lobby and a small restaurant where you can have breakfast . Breakfast was ok , a little expensive , about 25 dollars per person , but there are certainly better places where you can eat. The concierge service was great and the staff were very polite and willing to help at all times. So to resume this review , the hotel is ok , comfortable , but i guess that for the price of it you can get a way better deal .

we have a lot of fun, a taste a very good things

The hotel has an incredibly great location, so close to Union Square. The facilities are nice, not an extremely finest hotel but pretty acceptable. The only problem comes with the service. Employees seem not to have advocacy to customers requests.
