Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco - Union Square

Hotelli todella hyvällä paikkalla. Castroon menevät metro ja raitiovaunut ja Cable Car -päätepysäkki ihan hotellin vieressä. Jos Upgrade'aat huoneesi Club -luokaan. Silloin pääset hotellin yläkerrassa olevaan rauhalliseen aamiaishuoneeseen, jossa myös iltapäivällä pientä syötävää ja viini hieman edullisempaa kun muualla hotellissa. Kaverimme sai syntymäpäivälahjaksi henkilökunnalta viinipullon ja hedelmäkorin. Meitä oli 3 pariskuntaa ja hauskaa oli.

Through recommendation, I was told to stay here. This was the perfect location. I had the most beautiful view, and I will only be staying here when I visit San Francisco again.

The Parc 55 is close to access to all the San Fran attractions. If you stay on the lower floors of the property bring your ear plugs the city sounds are loud if you're not accustom to a big city.

My fiancee and I just spent 4 nights at the Parc 55 while on vacation in San Francisco and we were very pleased. The location is around the corner from Union Square and Market Street as well as the Powell/Mason cable car line. Fabulous shopping and iconic restaurants (John's Grill, Lefty O'Douls) are only steps away and we were able to walk to destinations on Nob Hill, China Town and the Financial District within 15 minutes. The hotel structure is an example of 70's organic architecture and has been extensively modernized inside. The lobby and reception area are attractive and the rooms are clean and updated. The bed and sheets were very comfortable and we didn't hear any noise at night from our neighbors on the 14th floor - only the sounds of the city below. The view from our window was a dramatic city skyline and I appreciated the black out curtains and the window vent. The front desk receptionist assisted us in finding a room on a higher floor and was very friendly, as was the housekeeping staff. We would stay at the Parc 55 again. It's a good hotel for a business or vacation stay in the heart of San Francisco.

This is a nice hotel walking distance from multiple 4.5 star restaurants, a block from a 2-story drug store with anything you could need, several blocks from a Target, and in the midst of great clothes shopping. It does happen to also be a block from a homeless shelter and services center so you do have some homeless around, but we didn't have any trouble. The room was very small. But we had everything we needed and didn't have to walk very far for food. Important when you have kids with you. They also didn't give us any trouble about two small kids in the room with us. (Some hotels have a max occupancy).

Centrally located and easy access to ground transportation. Check-in was convenient. We were accommodated to check in earlier and were able to check out an hour later, without any additional charge. Accessible to dining, entertainment and shopping.

My positive experiences started with check-in. The person checking me in was very friendly and accommodating. She provided me with a map of the city and explained where to get the food and how to get around. Then a few days later, the concierge helped me with renting a car within a couple of minutes. I was happy the services.

The hotel was perfect. We wanted to be in the heart of the city and we definitely were. Very central and the staff were excellent. We got an upgrade on checkin and had wonderful views from our room. I recommend the hotel as a great place to stay to explore the city.

Great location and helpful staff. Need internet access -free or easier, fridge would be nice. Very comfortable bed/pillows.

The Parc 55 Wyndham is a real 4 star hotel; great service, good amenities, lovely room. However, the location, right off Union Square, is not so lovely. The homeless folk, of whom there are many, wait outside the hotel door to panhandle, ask for money and/or cigarettes and although they are not hostile when you say "no", it is still unpleasant when you are on vacation. I would never stay at any Union Square hotel again in San Francisco. Sorry!
