Beacon Hotel and Corporate Quarters

poor, itchy beds, staff barely spoke english

the beacon hotel and corporate quarters were so bad that we checked out after 1 night, although we were planning to stay for 3. our first room was so noisy that we had to change rooms. the second room was so small we couldnt move in it. there wasnt even room to open up the sleep sofa. the climate control was horrendous and the stenches from the hallway unbearable. i hate complaining, so i will stop here but obviously i dont recommend this hotel.

the staff was very rude,the rooms were dirty, no water preasure in the shower. Will never stay there again or remcomend this hotel to others.

Over priced, staff was sorry, room was tiny for price, didnt clean room till we left, resturant was way over priced ($9.00 for a raw inside and charcoal outside cheese burger.) WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!!!! Dont be fooled by free high speed internet. $12.00 per day or $25.00 for five days.

With the oppressive heat of summer it was very difficult to relax and enjoy a room in which the air condition did not work properly. After the hotel engineer was unable to repair the problem the staff failed to find a room to accommodate us in which the air condition did function. Aside from the sweltering conditions the drunken youth running through the hallways at night half naked was not the type of entertainment I was hoping for. On that the note the much hyped roof top bar lacks a pool and for all its billing operated for limited hours and was mostly reserved for private gatherings.

Our room was ATROCIOUS!. The bathroom was about 2 1/12 feet away from the bed. There was no door, but a pull out door from wall. There was literally no privacy. We have never had an experience like this before. To add insult to injury, they say that there is valet parking on weekends. However, somehow, they filled up the lot before check in time. We had to take our bags about 2-2 1/2 blocks away to a parking garage. The staff was not friendly or helpful for directions or anything else. We would NOT recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

This hotel has not one amenity! No ice bucket, no ice! Not enough room for two to be in the bathroom. One bar of soap. I box of half empty Kleenex. I extra toilet paper. One extra towel. Could not use the roof top bar as a private party had it booked. Could not enter our room until exactly 3:00. they had no place to hold our luggage while we waited to get in room. The car was 15 minutes late from valet parking after we had arranged for it to be ready at a certain time. NO coffee pot and no coffee available until 7:30 a.m. No help telling us where coffee was OPEN before 8 a.m. They directed us to a Starbucks and it was still closed on a Sat. morning. If they can't serve it, they should be able to get their guests coffee that is available. No free breakfast, no snacks, no bar in room. Expensive room for oh so little value!

they didn't have a room for me they put us in a room on the ground floor facing a terraces with a restaurant and a pull up bed (queen not king size). on the first night there was a party of 30 drank people in the room next door till 2am. gym very small, the roof top close very early but they refund me one night out of two :) good luck!

I called tje hotel after making my reservation to ask about a pool for the kids. I told them my reservation was for the 4th of July. They told me that there was a health club with a pool that guests can use. Upon arrival on the 4th the kids wanted to use the pool. The desk clerk informed me that the health club is closed on the 4th. The assistant manager did nothing to try and rectify their blunder. He was quite cold about it. I travel quite a bit and his attitude was hotel unprofessional.

When I was going down to Washington, I got into a car accident. Tried to contact the hotel to arrange for a refund/partial refund or cancellation. The representative at the hotel wasn't able to make the decision so I had to wait for a manager. The manager stood me up for a week and was never able to be found. Simply lost contact and got jipped without an explanation. Had to pay full price simply because I wasn't able to make it and get in contact with someone who can make a decision.
