Carlyle Suites Hotel

Not sure what happened to service in this hotel but the housekeeping staff at this hotel is unusually hard to deal with. They did not fill the coffee supplies unless asked to and did not even replenish the shampoos in the bathroom. The front desk staff was friendly but they did not offer to move us when the rooms near us filled with noisy high schoolers and we complained.

From the moment I arrived, everyone was friendly & helpful. When I needed directions the next day or had questions throughout my stay, the staff was knowledgeable. Abou & Bernadette were terrific. David on the other hand, was not rude to me but to his fellow staff, talking in a condescending manner. Not cool. My room was very comfortable, clean & inviting. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel, great staff, surprisingly good restaurant (limited selections but excellent). A bit of a hike from the K Street business center, but worth it. At the discount it is a steal.

Large rooms with free WiFi. Kitchenete with small fridge and cooktop. Unfortunately no fan/hood over cooktop, so food odors from adjacent rooms can be unpleasant. Art deco style of room furnishings was interesting but really could use new carpet (well used & dingy). Location, location, location - near Dupont Circle, Metro, Embassy Row, restaurants, shops, and Safeway was best part of our stay Overall an OK place to stay - unless you want something with modern luxuries.

Great staff, large room with all the amenities and great location near everything.

We loved everything about this hotel. Beds were very comfortable, location was perfect and staff was exceptional. A shout out to staff member Abou. When I inquired where I could buy a 12 pack of Diet Coke he insisted on running to the store for us. Outstanding! Thank you for a wonderful and memorable trip.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel which is a decent place to sleep in what was a slightly out of the way nice residential neighborhood. The hotel is lacking any pizazz/ flair but is a decent place to get a good nights sleep. What I saved on the room rate more than paid for the taxi rides to the D.C. convention center about a ten minute ride away. The room had a alcove dining area and a full mini kitchen. I would stay here again if the price was right.

Very nice boutique hotel with free parking, although limited space easy access behind hotel. Just down the street from DuPont Cir. Good staff, bar, food, and close to neighborhood restaurants

Fantastic! Clean, super comfortable beds, really helpful and cheerful staff, and good value. We are a family of 5 and stayed in a 2 double bed plus sofa bed suite and there was plenty of room, plus a kitchenette. Excellent location too!

Very clean, very comfortable, really cheerful, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value! Stayed with 3 kids in a room with 2 doubles and a fold out couch and there was plenty of space. Room also had a kitchenette.
