We stayed here on a great deal for the first week and weekend of Bike Week. the rates were very expensive but moved when it went up to $279 for the rest of Bike Week. But it is even worth that much. 2 Bedroom lockoff was spacious, private, pretty and complimentary laundry facilities are on each floor. It is a block from the Ocean Walk shops and there are restaurants and a Walgreens all within a block.

I visited this hotel on a spring break getaway from my teaching job. Because of the timing, I knew it was going to be loud...that's how drunk college kids are on spring break. And the room, itself, was excellent. The 2-bedroom "lockout" was VERY spacious and the king sized bed quite comfortable. My problem had to do with some of the policies of the hotel. First of all, they only "clean" the rooms ONCE per week. This is bizarre, to say the least. Then, they charged for needing extra shampoo/conditioner. The price was minimal ($.25 each), but the principle of the matter is, in my opinion, stupid. I stayed a full week, and those tiny bottles last, at best, around 3 days. Any $60-a-night hotel is going to clean the room EVERY DAY and restock the soaps. Also, I know there was nothing they could do about it because of the time of year, but my room was literally directly over the dumpster, and looked out onto the neighboring hotel's dumpster. It is a very narrow hotel, so do NOT book there expecting an ocean-front view. You probably won't get it.

Was a little disappointed that we asked for an ocean front and got ocean view because we asked for handicapped access. That information was not available on line at time of booking.

The location was fabulous for our needs. We did not have to rent a car for that reason. The lobby was amazing, the room was correctly appointed for the rate. The staff was accommodating and friendly above and beyond. Our only issue was that our 2nd floor room was not only above the dumpster for our hotel but also looked out directly at the HUGE dumpster area for the hotel next door. We requested another room several times as the garbage pickup came at 6AM and was quite "alarming" but were always told that they were booked for the weekend. After inquiring with several "new" faces at the pool daily, we determined that this was a timeshare for many people from Orlando and that the turnover for the weekend was considerable. We were also told that "we hadn't booked this hotel back far enough to warrant giving us another room". So, overall we were very pleased but our "view" certainly didn't add to the value of location of the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location. The room was a little dated but we didn't plan on staying in the room the entire visit. Our room overlooked the parking lot and a building they were doing construction on. And the halls had this really strange odor all the time. Was not good at all. There was a guy along the street that played a saxaphone off and on all night. But it is Daytona. Would probably do it again at the price but will look into the larger facilities next door.

The trip was wonderful and hotel. But there was no security and there were a lot of kids running around the pool area screaming and jumping in and out in and out of the pool.

The hotel was fine, and our room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfy. However, the only reason we chose this hotel was because we wanted a beachfront room. The Descriptions says "all-suite beachfront resort" , which lead one to assume that all suites have beachfront views. [...] When I brough it up with the front-desk clerk upon check-in , she told me that all rooms had "partial views" of the ocean and that's what the online description claimed. Our room had a direct view of the dumpster of the hotel next door (and of garbage being hurled into it from a chute), and a partial view of the ocean.

I contacted the hotel several times requesting Oceanview/front especially since it was our 25th Anniversary. I was told they would try to accommodate us. We had a beautifully,clean spacious suite, but couldn't even stay on the balcony..smell horrible over dumpters and view was bldg's dumpsters across the way - 2nd floor. This alone will not encourage us to use the hotel again upon our next visit as our son is going to a college nearby. I felt I booked it in advance enough..there were plenty of vacant rooms for the two nights we stayed, on higher floors..Monday and Tuesday...and yet they gave us the worst room and Sue, the receptionist, advised us as soon as we got there that we wouldn't be happy with our room..Our request was ignored, and your rep. didn't even try to get us a level higher even with vacant rooms up there we knew about so Sue had to know about it also. The staff was great, the rooms were very spacious and pefect for two teenagers with us, and it was also very clean....I felt that we were not treated as "customers come first" as should be by any hotel rep!! They should have given us higher rooms as I req. four times before we came down!!

[...] i was supposed to have an ocean view but it was not the way i thought. looking out my window i saw the hotel across from us. made it very clear i wanted to be close to the board walk my kids have never been on the pier before but it was closed. could have been told these things i may have made other decisions on where i choice my fam to stay and how much i paid for the room.[...]
